Cat Thief Chapter 18

It's been only a day and my "kidnapping" is all over the news. "I am devastated someone would kidnap my beloved daughter," said the King on the news. "I'm happy to be away from all those princes," I said. "It was going to be hard to get rid of all of them without looking strange so I removed myself from the picture, now there is no hair to the throne," I said looking at the news with Jack. "The King should really try and make an effort to keep you in the castle, I'm betting he will never succeed," said Jake. "He never will, but he might try to find me and then we would both get in a ton of trouble. Maybe it would just be easier to fake my death, but then We wouldn't have any leverage" I said. "How about we post a video of you being held hostage and make it so that it shows it was shot in the opposite direction on where we are going," said Jake. "That's great!" I said. "Come on! I know the perfect place!" I said grabbing Jakes hand and started to run.
   "Three, two, one," said Jake and hit record. I started to struggle to try to break free from the chair I was tied too with my mouth covered. "If you want your princess you will have to follow my demands or I will throw her over the dam in three days. I want half a million dollars in cash delivered to the lighthouse by ten o'clock sharp in the morning tomorrow if it's not their then you have two days to meet the rest of my demands or I will take a day off her life and she will die. Make no mistakes. If you ever want to see the princess alive and well you will do everything I tell you to..." Jake said with a voice disguiser saying all our demands. "I understand that she is the only heir to the throne and without her, you are powerless without her inventions, as you may have seen I destroyed everything she built," said Jake ending the video. "And send to the king," I said sending it to him and making it so everyone in the kingdom saw it being played. "This should do it," said Jake. "I better, or we're going to be in heap of trouble and I may never see the light of day again," I said. "Same my dad will never let me out of his sight," said Jake rolling his eyes. "How about we camp out by the lighthouse, so we can get the money, and how about if they are even one minute later then we take off a day from my life" I suggested. "Yeah we need to show we are serious," said Jake.
  The next day we waited and at ten oh five, the money was delivered. "Come on we need to do a live stream saying that you're taking away a day. "HETNTION EVERYONE! I AM AFRAID THAT THE MONEY WAS DELIVERED LATE SO I AM TAKING AWAY A DAY OF THE PRINCESSES LIFE!" Said Jake behind a mask. We could see and hear how everyone reacted. "Please, she is my daughter! I did what you said!" said the king. "IT'S TO LATE! YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT I AM NOT LYING TO YOU AND THE PRINCESS WILL BE THROWN OVER THE DAM IF I DON'T GET WHAT I ASKED FOR" Thundered Jake. Then I ended the stream. "Great Job," I said. "Now let's actually go to the damn," I said. The dam is three hundred feet high and provided electricity for the whole kingdom, A false step on the water soaked bridge and you're dead.
   "IT HAS BEEN TWO DAYS! YOUR PRINCESSES LIFE HANGS BY THIS ROPE! WILL YOU PEOPLE DO NOTHING TO SAVE HER? SHE IS THE FUTURE OF YOUR KINGDOM! OR ARE YOU PEOPLE TO WEAK TO DO ANYTHING?" Said Jake pulling out a knife. and putting it up to the rope and started to cut. We had a dummy of me that was hanging limp as if to look like I was unconscious. "ONE SMALL STRAND OF THREAD LEFT AND THIS GIRL WILL BE DEAD!" said Jake cutting the last strand. When the dummy was out of sight I did an ear-piercing scream. I stopped the recording. "There now we are free to do whatever we want," I said. "I know, but I feel kind of bad, you will never be able to go back and neither will I," said Jake. "I know, but I can't stand the thought of being trapped for one more day there, with all the princes. They drive me crazy and I hate hiding my ear and tail. We need to go before the body is recovered and we're caught faking my death" I said. I looked at my tablet "Crap! Crap, crap, crap" I curse. "#############" I cursed. "Jake, I didn't stop the recording! RUN!" I yelled tossing my tablet over the side but taking the memory card first. "We are so dead! We stole HALF A MILLION DOLLARS FROM THE KINGDOM!" I yelled. "And a lot of other stuff, our dad are going to kill us!" I cursed. "No doubt about that," said Jake as we ran. I saw a few card in the distance. "WE CAN'T OUT RUN THEM!" I yelled. "WHAT DO WE DO?!" I said panicking. "We are definitely never seeing the light of day again," Jake said. "Definitely, but I'm not giving up without a fight," I said. "JENNY! YOU'LL JUST GET IN EVEN MORE TROUBLE!" Shouted Jake. "IF I'M NEVER GOING TO SEE THE LIGHT OF DAY AGAIN OR YOU THEN THESE PEOPLE ARE GOING TO HAVE A HELL OF A TIME TRYING TO TAKE ME BACK TO THAT HELLHOLE!" I said. "Then let's go," said Jake taking out his knife as I unsheathed my claws. The cars came closer and I saw Jakes dad. "Crap, we are so dead," said Jake. "Sure are," I said. "But that's not going to make it any easier!" I said. "Jenny, Jake you're coming with us. You're both under arrest for treason to the crown, stealing and about every other crime" said Jakes dad. "Well do we have a charge for attacking royal guards?" I asked. "Because we're about to get it" I growled. I pounced and so did Jake. We managed to scratch them up pretty bad but we were both caught and detained. "I seriously hate this," I said sitting in the box I was being hauled back to the kingdom in. When we got to the palace, Me and Jake were taken inside in chains. We were brought to the throne room where the king was. I saw all the princes watching. "Hello father, it's so nice to see you. How long had it been since I was brought here in chains? Not that long. And this certainly isn't the last time," I said. "I HAVE NO USE FOR YOUR BLABBERING JENNY! YOU HAVE COMITED ALMOST ALL THE CRIMES IMAGINABLE!" Roared the king. "Yes I know, I know. Can you just lock me up so I can escape again?" I asked sounding board. "Really father, this is getting quite boring," I said. The king's face turned bright red. "I really should just go back to being kidnapped if you won't say anything," I said. "YOU FAKED THE WHOLE THING!" Yelled the king. "YOU'RE THE ONE WHO NEVER LISTENS TO ME! DO YOU KNOW HOW POWERFUL I COULD MAKE THIS KINGDOM? NO YOU DON'T! AND NEVER WILL BECAUSE YOU ARE ALWAYS FORCING ME TO DO THING LIKE, PRETEND TO BE HUMAN OR GET TO KNOW THESE STUPID STUCK UP PRINCES IN HOPES I MIGHT MARRY ONE! WELL GUESS WHAT? YOU CAN'T MAKE ME FOR MUCH LONGER! You want to know why? I'm never going to tell you. And as the only heir to the throne, I am extremely valuable!" I said. "I thought you had learned father? Well, clearly not" I said. The king looked like he was going to explode. "What did Jake have to do with all this?" asked the king finally. "You did lock up my best friend in this place,  I couldn't leave him to suffer," I said. "Guards, just lock them up in the most secure cells and make sure they are far away from each other. "Sam! Come on out!" I called. Sam walked out of the shadows. "Sam please post all the footage of the king acting crazy including today's footage and show it all over the city" I commanded. "Of course, when would you like me to do it?" asked Sam. "I'm let's say three seconds," I said. "Three, two, one," said Sam then as the screens in the room lit up and started playing to footage. "Really father, I've used the exaxt same method when I made Sam," I said. "I will always have the upper hand father, and I will always win," I said getting up and the chains fell away from me and Jake. "And I've broken all the laws by the way father. Never underestimate a thief" I said as me and Jake walked out. "I guess I'm the top wanted person in the kingdom," I said walking out. "Come, Sam, we have better places to be"

Pokemon Journey of Awesomeness Chapter 4

I've been traveling with Ash and his friends for about a week it's really fun, but I want to go on my own to get more Pokemon. I left early one morning and I left a note saying that I was going on my own for a bit and that I'd be fine. I was walking in the woods and it was very foggy. I couldn't see very well. I was stumbling around and I was pretty sure I was walking in circles. "Mew," said Mew. "I;m trying Mew, but it's hard to see anything in this fog and it doesn't seem to be going anytime soon if anything it's getting thicker," I said. Melloetta came out of its ball and did a short song then went back. I was confused and didn't say anything. I saw a light up ahead, multiple lights of different colors. I knew I had to follow them. I started off towards them trying not to trip on anything. I soon found myself out of the fog. I saw the lights and kept following them. I crept closer not wanting to startle it, whatever it was. I peeked through a bush and saw a Xerneas. A legendary Pokemon. It turned around and saw me. It crept closer to me. "I won't hurt you," I said. I got up and walked closer to the Xerneas. It came closer looking curious. I held out some Poke puffs I had gotten from Serena. It took a bite then ate the rest. It lowered its head and I stroked it. "You're a very nice Pokemon," I said smiling. It nudged my pocket where I was carrying some Pokeballs. "I only have PokeBalls in there," I said. Then it dawned on me "Do you want me to catch you?" I asked. Xerneas nodded its head. I took out a PokeBall and touched Xerneas's head with it. "I can't believe that I have three legendary Pokemon," I said smiling. Xerneas came out of its ball, come on let's get out of this forest" I said.

Pirate Girl Chapter 1

"Daisy! Come inside this instant! You need to get ready for the festival" said my mother. I climbed down from the crows nest my father had made when I was little. I loved to climb up and look through my spyglass to try and spot ship sailing into the harbor. "Coming Mother" I said climbing down. I went inside and brushed my long brown hair and slipped on a dress that was lilac purple and had ruffles on the  waist and the shoulders it went a little lower than my knees. I retied my orange ribbons and went outside. "I'm ready mother" I said. "Daisy I would tell you to wear something that your sister has but we must go" said my mother who was shaking her head. We lived in a small village that was slowly growing. My father is a trader and we barley ever see him. Lily my big sister is very pretty with her short blond hair. Today at the festival every boy and girl who are eighteen will do a special dance to pick who they wish to marry. I'm only sixteen. When we get to the town square the dance starts. The girls start dancing then the boys who dance in a circle giving every girl they like a piece of cloth with their name. If the girls don't like them then they drop the cloth. Many boys give Lily there cloth but she drops one after another. Until a boy called Jeffery who is tall and hansom gives her his cloth and she keeps it. Next everyone dances into the night and eat and have fun. I have fun, but I wish that my father was here. We would talk, dance and laugh together. He has been gone for about four years. I miss him so much. I go home early. I go to my crows nest and look out to sea. I see a sail in the distance. As it comes closer I see that it had a black flag,of pirates. The worst pirates. I get downed run to everyone shouting"Pirates are coming! everyone run!" No one hears me over the music. I try to tell people but no one will listen to me. I saw the ship dock and knew that we would be captured. I saw pirates with swords lurking behind houses. "Well well, what do we have her" said one. The others walked out of the shadows and surrounded us. I was knocked to the ground in the panic. I hit my head. I tried to get up but My head hurt to much. Ten minutes later everyone was tied up and benighted into the ship. I had heard stories of small villages being attacked by pirates and everyone taken hostage and sold as slaves but I thought I would never happen to us. I was scared, but happy I had my fathers spy glass. Lily and my mother had fear in there eyes as did everything else. "Ok come on out everyone, we have our first selling" said the captain. We where all taken to the harbor where people looked at us and bought a few of us. "I'll take her" said a man looking at Lily. "How much?" asked the captain. "I'll give you five thousand" he said. "Deal" said the captain. Lily looked terrified. Other people where sold. I wasn't but I just got more scared. A lot of use where left even after the selling. At the next selling people looked at me and everyone else.
      One day a boy who looked about seventeen came to a selling and saw me. We had be captured about two months ago and I was a wreak. "How old is this one?"he asked. "I'm sixteen" I whispered. "I'll take her for ten thousand" he said. "Deal" the captain said. "Well? Get out of here girl" said the captain. I walked over to the boy with my head down. "How long have you been with than man?" the boy asked. "About two months, my whole village was captured, I tried to warn them but  they didn't listen. My sister and mother where both sold" I said not looking at him. "That's terrible" he said. "What's your name?" he asked. I stayed silent. "It's ok you can tel me" he said. "Daisy" I said. "That's a nice name" he said. "I bet you're wondering why I got you" he said. "Yes" I said. "I got you because you looked like someone who is strong and smart" he said. "What is your fathers name?" he asked. I was surprised. "Paul Sandiliago" I said. "I thought so" he said. "You know my father?" I said. "Yes I do, but he was captured by pirates and taken to a place called Galway that is full of pirates" he said. I was terrified. "I want to get him back" I said. I haven't seen him in four years" I said. "I thought you would say that" he said. "Come if you want to save him you will have to learn how to use a sword" he said. "Wait! What's your name?" I asked "Ari" he said. When we got to his house he let me get cleaned up. When I was done I felt relaxed. "It's nice to see you clean" he said. "Come I need to give you something" he said walking to a closet. He opened it and pulled out a leather jacket. "This was your fathers he wanted you to have it" he said. I took  it and out it on. I was snug and warm. "Thank you" I whispered. When I went to my new room I couldn't sleep. I took my dress and used a pair of scissors I had snagged and cut it so that the skirt was shorter.
   When I woke up then next morning and started my sword fighting with Ari. I was a fast learner. "Remember don't fight any pirated immediately, your innocents are your best weapons, they won't expect you to know how to fight" said Ari. He had also told me if I had to fight do it where people wouldn't see so I could keep up the innocent act. I was good at it. Ari had taught me martial arts and how to pick a lock and much more. One day I went out to get some food because Ari was still my master. I guess I hated that I was someones property. I was walking to the market when someone grabbed me and covered my mouth. I tried to scream for help but my scream was muffled. "Isn't she a pretty one? We could make good money off of her" said one of the people. "We sure could" said another. I tried to struggle free. I wanted to play harmless and innocent. I made my eyes wide open and pretended to be scared. "Ha looks like we got a weak one" said one of the men. I opened my mouth and bit the man who's holding my mouth. "OW!" He yelled. I broke free, but not before another guy caught me. "You think that"s smart?" he growled. I stepped on his foot and elbowed him right between the ribs. He doubled over. I kicked the one I had bitten and ran as fast as I could until I reached the market. They chased after me and tried to corner me. "HELP! THESE PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO HURT ME!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. "HELP SOMEONE PLEASE HELP! THESE TWO MEN THREATENED TO HURT ME AND TRIED TO KICK ME!" I screamed. I had gotten peoples attention. The man who seemed to be the leader grabbed me but the collar of my dress and lifted me up a little and made a fist with his hand. I turned my head away. I pretended to choke. A few officer came running towards us. "You two are under arrest for assaulting this poor girl" one said. "She attacked us!" said one. I burst into tears "They threatened to hurt me if I didn't do what they said and they tried to kidnap me" I said sobbing. "You two have to come with me" growled and officer. "Come on sweetie, we should take you back to where you live" said the other. "That won't be necessary officers, this girl is mine" said Ari. "We found this girl getting attacked" said an officer. "Well the good thing is she is not hurt" said Ari. When we walked home Ari said "Good job pretending that those men where attacking you, you really should be more carful though." "Ok" I said

War in Me Chapter 3

I was at the shooting range practicing because I had nothing better to do. "Good job Sapphire," said my handler. I kept shooting. "I need you to come with me, for the interrogation, the boy won't talk to anyone. We think he might talk to you, you will need to keep a handgun handy in case he tries to escape. You must go now" he said. "Yes sir," I said. I started towards the interrogation room. When I walked in I saw Luke. "I see they finally sent you in," he said. "Start talking, we need to know all we can about that school," I said. "I see you'll get right to it, won't you? Why won't you talk?" asked Luke. "Tell me was it your "handler" who asked you to do this or did you do it on your own free will?" Luke asked. "Quit babbling and start talking," I said putting my hand on my gun. "I know you can't hurt me, I'm too useful for you, so go ahead and take out that gun, I know you have it," said Luke. "Your acting like a madman," I said. "You can kill someone in the blink of an eye," said Luke. I didn't say anything. "I see I'm right, and I guess you don't even care if you do hurt someone. Have you ever thought about if the person had a family? kids?" asked Luke. "I see you people fell for my trap, You see I was assigned to get into this place, and My job was to kill you," said Luke raising a gun. I knew he was aiming for my eye. I pulled out my gun and pointed it at him. "You are a monster, have you ever thought of that? You kill people without a second glance, for other people they would think of them for the rest of their life, they would never go away. Some people are driven to insanity, so why are you so nonchalant about killing people?" asked Luke moving towards me slowly. I snapped back to reality. I punched him in the head. "I will shoot," I said pointing my gun at him. Am I a monster? I, though. I realized I was trembling. I looked at the gun. When I saw my hands they were red, covered in blood from all the people I had killed. "Did you know you killed my parents? I bet you didn't, but I will avenge them by killing you" said Luke. But I didn't see him, I saw the faces of people I had killed everywhere. I screamed. I dropped the gun and fell to the ground. "I knew that would work," sneered Luke. "cyborg or not the human mind is so easy to manipulate," said Luke. "Now all I need to do is end you," he said his voice like acid. I grabbed him and pulled him to the floor. Why was no one coming to stop him. I grabbed his gun and faced the barrel towards my eye. "do it" I whispered. "No, you should suffer for what you've done," said Luke. "You don't decide," I said pulling his gun out of his hands and grabbing mine. "It's a good thing I know how to act. I pointed bothe guns at his head. I shoot one at his leg and the other at his arm. "Damn you!" he yelled. "You see I'm not the monster you are, I killed those people because it would save hundreds of others. You're the monster" I said. "Saphire! Why did you shoot him?" demanded my handler bursting in a second later. "I didn't shoot anything important,, " I said. He had a gun and I had to disable him" I said. "I see good job then. We will handle it from here" he said. "You can go," he said. "Yes sir," I said walking away. I was in my dorm laying on the bed. When I got up the next day Luke had a bandage in his arm and leg. "You hit him a good place, not near the bone or anything that couldn't mend on its own, we need him to be in the same condition he was in when he came," said my handler. "When will the attack be?" I asked. "Tonight," he said. get ready" he said. "Yes sir," I said. I practiced with various guns for the rest of the day. "Sapphire get ready, it's time"
   We were in the air above the school. "I'm ready," I said jumping out with a few other people. We landed on the roof and untied the harnesses. I swing down into the main room. with my gun. I was well equipped. I walked in. "Where were you?" asked a kid. "Where is Luke?" asked another. "We were captured by bad people and kept prisoner. It was horrible, they didn't hurt me but they shoot Luke in the leg and arm" I said. "The only way I was able to get out was to agree to do one thing," I said. "What was it?" asked a kid. "They told me if I ever wanted to see daylight I had to kill everyone here," I said pulling out a gun pretending to cry. "I'm sorry," I said before I started firing. When I got almost everyone and had injured others I said. "Please don't kill me" begged a boy. "I need to, you would all do the same thing," I said. I went to the next room and did the same thing. I walked into the combat class with blood all over me. "Sapphire! Your back!" said the teacher. "They let me go but I was caught crossfire", I said. "You poor thing," said the teacher. "Children, our next exersize will be to attack Sapphire all at once," said the teacher. "Please don't I was shot a few times," I said. "Sir, she looks hurt, do we need to do this?" asked a boy. "Yes! Now do it!" yelled the teacher. I raised my gun. "I'm ready," I said. "do it you fools!" said the teacher. "They don't need to," I said. "I will attack them, with all my force," I said. I started shooting. "What the hell Sapphire. "I was never hurt fool, this is your friend's blood, you people must learn about acting," I said shooting him. I went to the next room not bothering with the charade. I was done with everything in a short time. "Building cleared sir, There is a hidden room that is filled with people who are ready to fight. I will take them in" I said walking down. I made short work of them. When we went back I told Luke. "DAMN IT SAPPHIRE!" yelled Luke when he heard the news. "They were all terrorists even if they didn't know it, which made them dangerous," I said. I left Luke fuming in his bed. He was still in the hospatal...

Talking to the Dead Chapter 2

"Grace can you show me the dance?" my Granma asked. "Sure," I said and started dancing. I started going faster and faster so absorbed in my thoughts while I was dancing. "Well this is something special, Grace opens your eyes," said My grandma. I did and I saw my hands, but they weren't pale they were a healthy light pink-ish color. "What happened?" I asked. "You are so powerful that when you did the dance it transformed you to look like the spirit princess," said mt grandma. I ran to a mirror and saw that I looked beautiful. My hair was more of a white silver color and it wasn't ragged it was long but not all long as it had been, part of it from the front was tied back in a bow at the back. My eyes were an amazing blue that was a gray-blue. I gasped. I couldn't remember how to talk. "I wish your parents could see how you are now, I bet they would be happy that you are so pretty," said Granma. "No, but I think Rob and  Vikky will say that it's good to not be related to a freak," I said. "Come now dear school is tomorrow. You should go to sleep you'll want plenty of rest" said Granma. "And you'll be meeting James, you two have the same classes," said Grandma. "Ok, I do feel rather tired," I said.
  When I woke up I was excited to see that I hadn't dreamt the whole thing. When I got dressed in a white dress I went downstairs. "Morning Grandma," I said. "Good morning darling. James is here" Grandma said. "Hi," I said when I saw James. "Hi," he said. We walked to school in silence. When we got to class I introduce myself. "Hi, I;m Grace and I moved here from Florida," I said. I was scared thinking that people would call me things like a freak, but they didn't. I laughed with some girls and had a good time. It was still pretty awkward with James. I almost forgot about my old life until I got a text. "Hey freak, it's Vikky and Rob, just wanted to say that we DON'T miss you and that we hope you have a good time. NOT!" And it was in the middle of class. I was mortified. I texted back "Thanks! I'm having so much fun here and I've made a few great friends, and Grandma is so sweet! I can't wait to see you guys during the break!" I felt smug. "FREAK!!!" they texted to me. "Whatever, you two are freaks for calling me a freak" I texted back. The I took a quick picture of myself waving and sent it to them. "..." they replied. "I really have gotten a lot of sun here and everyone is so nice. Tell YOUR PARENTS I said hi" I texted them before blocking their number. "Hey Grace who were you texting?" asked my friend. "Just a someone I knew from Florida. They were jerks" I said. I didn't want to tell anyone about Rob and Vikky. I was ashamed to be related to them. "Oh, How come you keep talking about everyone being mean to you? You're so nice" said Allie. "Unfortunately people thought I was ugly and they judged me based on that without saying much to me other than calling me a freak," I said. "But that doesn't matter now that's behind me," I said. "Yeah, I guess," said Allie sounding kind of disappointed about my exclamation. On the way home I didn't say anything to James and he didn't say anything to me. When I got home I went to my room and did my homework then I messed around on my phone for a bit. "Hi Grandma, I was going to go outside and do the dance," I said. "Ok be careful you can not be in the spirit world for long or you might get stuck in there forever" warned Grandma. "I won't do it for long," I said. I went outside and started dancing. I closed my eyes fell to the ground, I didn't get up. When I opened my eyes I saw my body on the ground. It had just started to rain. I got up and noticed that my body was on the ground still. I was a spirit. "Wow" I whispered afraid to talk any louder. I walked around for a second. It was raining hard. I knew I couldn't stay for long so I wanted to see if I could meet any spirits. "Grace?" called someone. I looked around and saw James. I didn't know why he was outside until I heard the thunder. "Someone is coming, Grace if you can hear me then come out of the spirit world, you're in a lot of trouble," said James. I started dancing and I woke up in my own body. I sat up sudenly. "You need to come inside now," said James. "What's coming?" I asked. "Thunder spirits, they senced you enter the spirit world and they want to hurt you. You must get inside now. I'll make a barrier around the house so we don't get hurt" said James. "Ok," I said shaken. I didn't know about the risk of entering and exiting the spirit world. I ran inside, I was soaked and just started to feel the cold. I ran upstairs and got a towel. James burst in a second later. "Ma'am Grace needs to get something to protect herself, She could run into trouble and I won't be there to protect her, like in the spirit world. She should have something like a hidden dagger with her at all times" said James. "I agree, I have just the thing," said Grandma opening a secret room and going in. She came out holding a dagger in a sheith with a white belt to put around my waist. "How will I hide that?" I asked. "It's quite easy, all you need to do is press this button on the side and it was camouflage," said Grandma. "Ok," I said taking. I unsheathed it and saw a blade that was almost glowing white. I gasped at its beauty. I pressed the button. "Ok great, now you have something to protect yourself, now we just need to wait out the storm" said James.

Hi, guys! I just want to give you a heads-up that I won't be able to post any stories for about a week because I'm going skiing so yeah. But I will try and post something before and after I leave.

Talking to the Dead Chapter 1

My name is Grace. I live in Florida all my life but I am as pale as a ghost. Everyone calls me a freak even my older brother and sister. They are booth really tan and popular, the exact opposite of me. I have long white hair and I wear white all the time. My hair falls around my eyes so people can't see them. Even if they could they would just see extremely light blue eyes. I can see through my hair fine. My sister has told me many times it looks ragged and lame. I stand out like a white dot on a black piece of paper. People try to avoid me like I have the plague. I constantly wish I could live with my grandmother in Seattle where it rains. I remember when I was little Grandma taught me a special dance, she told me that I was the only one she had ever taught it to and someday I would teach it to someone. My brother and sister never went to Grandmas because they didn't like it. I loved it and begged my parents to let me live with her. They always said no, I don't know why. I miss Grandma and always wish to see her. I do our dance in my room. I am so good at it, it is like I fly across the floor when I do it. My sister calls it lame. But I do it anyway. It's the only time I feel like I'm not a freak.
   "Happy birthday me," I said on my fifteenth birthday when I woke up. My family had forgotten again. They did every year since I was twelve. "GRACE! YOU GOT A PACKAGE!" Yelled my brother Rob. "Coming!" I called. When I got down I saw that it was from Grandma, she never forgot. I picked it up and ran to my room. When I opened it I saw there was a letter.
Dear Grace
Happy birthday my darling girl. You are so beautiful now and I wanted to give you something you have wanted for a very long time. I contacted the Child Welfare Agency and told them that you have had a hard situation at home and that you are basically ignored by your family. I said that I would like to take custoday of you so you can move here to Seattle with me. I know how hard it is for you at school and I wish for nothing but your happiness. Please use this phone to tell me if you would like to come live with me and if your parents say yes. If so I will be in Florida in a week to get you.
Love Grandma
I looked in the package and saw a phone, it was a smartphone. I saw my grandma's number had been put in it. Grandma! I would love to live with you! thank you so much!" I texted. I'll ask mom and dad now" I sent before running downstairs. "Mom, Dad," I said when I was, "Grandma said that she wants me to live with her in Seattle. All you need to do is say yes and I'll be gone in a week" I said. "What did you say Grace?" said my mom. "I said that Grandma wants me to live with her. All you need to do is say yes and in a week fill out the forms and I'll be gone" I repeated. "Sure kid, " sai, my dad. "Oh, and it's my birthday," I said. "You forgot again," I said. "We don't care Grace!" said my sister Vikky. "I'm going to pack my stuff," I said. When I got upstairs I started crying, I was happy to finally be going to live with Grandma, and I was sad that my parents and siblings didn't care about my birthday. I packed all my clothes in my case, it didn't take long. I got all my most valuable things, which were mostly from Grandma. Grandma was not wrong when she said I was ignored by my family.
  One week later I was jumping out of my skin. My grandma was at the table with a few people from the agency my parents were sitting across from the signing some documents to let my Grandma take care of me. "That's all, thank you," said the woman. "Grace darling, it's time to go home," said Granma. "I can't wait," I said. "By the way do you remember the dance I taught you?" asked my grandma in the car. "Yes, I do it almost every day," I said. 'That's wonderful dear. I need to tell you something important. The dance has a purpose, you see it is rare to have a spirit talker but we are direct descendants from the first one. I am one and so are you. On every Spirit Talkers fifteenth birthday, they gain the skill to be able to see and talk to ghosts. You activate that power by dancing. I want to teach you, you are the most powerful one in generations. I knew it from when I first saw you. You have an amazing rare power even for spirit talkers. You are able to enter the spirit world. Without proper training your power could hurt people" said my Grandma. "I know this must be a shock but it is all true" she said. "I'm shocked but this must be the reson why I never fit in," I said. "Grace there is also one more thing you should know. Legend says that the Spirit Talker who can enter the spirit world is the lost princess of the spirits. And it is you. This means that you will be in constant danger" she said. "That doesn't sound good," I said. "It's not. I know a family in Seattle who practices magic. They have a boy your age who said that he will protect you" said, my Grandma. "You must always be together, your magic aura is strong and it will attract much trouble." "I understand" I said. Apparentlymy life was going to get a lot more intresting and a lot more dandrouse...

Cat Thief Chapter 17

"Good morning Father," I said the next morning as I walked into the dining room for breakfast. Lovely day outside isn't it?" I said. "It certainly is," said my dad surprised to hear me say something nice to him with my own free will. I was working on my plan to get rid of each and every prince. I ate my breakfast quickly. "I'm going to my workshop," I said getting up. "Workshop?" said one of the princess. "Yes, you can come with me if you want but it's a bit of a mess," I said. When I got to my workshop I started working on a little puppy robot that I was planning to sell. I was working on the programming for it when I heard a knock. "Yes?" I called. "Hi I was wondering if I could come in," said someone. "Sure, just watch your step," I said not looking away from my super hologram computer. I heard the door open. "I wanted to introduce myself because I never had the chance in the garden," said the boy from the garden. "I'm prince Luke," he said bowing. "Nice to know your name. Do you have anything else you need to tell me?" I asked not turning around. "I was wondering why you're here," he said. "Because I'm working on a project to help the kingdom. Now I need to concentrate" I said. "Oh," he said. I kept programming until I was done about six hours later. I put the last piece together and had finished the programming for the app and tried it out. I typed in a few basic starter commands and they worked perfectly. "Perfect," I said smiling. "I'll call you King," I said. "Come on boy, follow me," I said. I walked to my room with King. "Now, for the finishing touches," I said adding a few secret commands only programmed in King. "How about we tell father I'm done," I said. When I walked into my dad sitting on his throne. "Father, I finished my lates invention," I said. "There might be a few bugs, but I want to test this on out to make sure it works perfectly," I said. "Great job Jenny, " said my dad. "I'll be in the gardens," I said walking out. "Sam," I said when I saw Sam in the gardens. "It's nice to see you," I said. "It's nice to see you to princess," said Sam. "I need to go now Sam, I'll be back later," I said walking out of the gardens. I found a nice spot where I could do somethings on my tablet in the city. "E-excuse me, but can we play with your dog?" asked a little girl. "Sure, his name is King and he's actually a robot dog," I said smiling at the little girl and her friend. "Really?" said the little girl. "Yep, you can go on and play with him if you want, he won't bite," I said. "Thank you," said the kids. "No problem," I said. They ran off with King to play. I watched them smiling. I pulled out my tablet and started 3D printing mini Kings for all the children. They were done is a short time. When the kids came back they were laughing. "Your robot dog is so fun," said the little girl. "I know, that's why I thought you all would like these special mini Kings that you can keep forever," I said giving them one each. "Really?" said a little boy. "Od course, why would I not, you all remind me of when I was young and I want you to keep something to remember me," I said smiling. "Thank you" all the kids chorusd. "Anytime, in fact I would be more than happy if you came to visit me at the palace one day," I said. "You're the princess?" said one of the kids. "Yep, and you're always welcome to come visit me," I said. "Now I need to go, have fun" I called behind my sholder. "Hi," said the boy who had proposed to me in front of everyone. "Hi," I said. "I never caught your name, what is it?" I asked. "Oh it's Adam," he said. "Cool, now I need to go," I said trying to get in the castle. "Wait, I was wondering if it was a yes or no?" he said. "Umm, I'm confused," I said. "When I proposed to you," He said. "I don't know, and if you keep asking me about it the chances of me saying yes will get less and less," I said walking away. When I got to my room I punched my wall making a small hole thatI hid behind a huge painting (There were a lot of holes) "Now what am I going to do? I need to get rid of every prince here so I can finally have some peace and so I can make my next escape. To bad this room has a thik layer of bedrock in the walls, so I can't get out that way. And I can't- Maybe I could do that. I could always slip something in everyone's food so I could escape" I said. I'll need to get the right ingredients, but I know they're all wild so I can go in the woods to get them tomorrow" I said. "Then I can leave and never come back. No one can stop me this time. Not the king, the head guard or the regular guards for that matter. This has all been torture, even though the food it good, I can live without it" I said. "I can finally say goodbye to this life," I said getting a ew things ready. I didn't know Luke was listening again. "I must tell the king," he said to low for me to hear. I was busy packing a few things.
"JENNY!!!" roared the king about thirty minutes later. "Yes, father?" I said trying to sound confused. "Prince Luke tells me that you are planning on leaving the castle forever," said the king. "Why would I do that? I mean I already learned not to try that when I trapped me in that room whenI was first discovered to be a princess" I said. "And of course I would never want to leave all my very precious inventions here that could be incredibly useful to the kingdom to make it about ten times more powerful," I said. "I guess you have a good point," said the king. "And I was asleep a little while ago where I had a dream about being trapped somewhere and I talk in my sleep" I lied. "And didn't you say that the princes were forbidden from going to my tower?" I asked. "Why yes I did," said the king. "You may go, Jenny," said the king. That night I asked the servants if they wanted any help in the kitchen and they said yes. When they weren't looking I put the sleeping reside in all the food except mine. I waited until midnight to sneak out of my room. "I knew it! You were going to escape all along!" said Luke. "You can't stop me you know," I said. "I was on my own for years and I learnt how to fight. I could take you out in a heartbeat" I said/ "But I won't because I need you to say I escaped" I said. "It's a good thing these handcuffs are here," I said handcuffing Luke to the wall. "Now how about you be good and stay quiet until morning?" I said. "You can't keep me quiet," Luke said. "Yes, I can," I said taking some duct tape and putting it on Luke's mouth. "And anyway it's going to look like I was kidnapped," I said walking away. I got James from the dungen and told him we where escaping. "I knew you would do it, you can't be kept anywhere for to long" said James. "Come on lets go so we can leave this place" I said...

War in me Chapter 2

In combat training, we had to fight with spears. I was still mad from what happened on the roof and was paired up with Luke. We were fighting with spears so I had an advantage. I decided that I would beat him with my dance. I as so fast and I had taken Luke down only by tripping him and holding my spear tip to his chin so he would get impaled if he tried to get up. I noticed that he had a bandage on his nose. I smirked slightly when I saw it. "That was great Sapphire!" said the instructor. "Thanks," I said. "Ok everyone, we're ging to see how you react you're attacked by multiple people at once," said the instroctor. "Saphire is first," he said. "Everyone in position to attack," he said. I braced myself. I started doing my dance when the charged doing and knocking them down. Soon enough I had defeated them, but I wasn't done dancing. I kept going and when I finally stopped everyone was watching me. "What?" I demanded. "What was that Sapphire?" asked the instructor. "It was me fighting off everyone," I said. "No, when you were done you kept going using a completly difrent tactic than I taught you," he said. "So?" I asked. "It was more of a dance than a fighting tactic," he said. "Actually it's both," I said. "A combination," It's combined the spear moves with motion and made it so that it was deadly and beautiful at the same time," I said. "How long did it take you?" he asked. "I've been working on it for about two years always improving so that the dance can be good for combat assortment of difrent wepons that the person attaking you, I even made it so that I can dodge buletts if I need, it's extremly complex," I said. "That really is amazing," he said. "Shouldn't the others get to go?" I asked. "Right," he said and we continued the class again, but no one forgot my dance. By lunch, everyone knew about it, but on one could describe what it looked like. "Looks like I was right, I didn't have to tell anyone about it," said Luke sitting next to me. "Do you want me to break your nose again? or worse?" I demanded. "I'm going somewhere else," I said getting up with my food. "I swear! It was like magic, her dance was amazing it's like she was flying!" said a student. When I got to my room I saw that about ten people were waiting for me wanting to do my dance. I did the only logical thing, I ran from them. I finally managed to get on the roof to escape. "I thought you might be here," said Luke. I turned around. "How did you know?" I asked. "You come here almost every night," he said. "You're quite predictable," he said. "Go away," I said. "I think I'll stay," he said. "Whatever," I said. "I'm not going to dance anyway," I said. "I don't care," Luke said. "You're acting like a real creep you know," I said. "And I doubt you're planning on getting down," said Luke. "I guess, but is it predictable that I have a gun instead of a spear?" I asked pulling up a revolver. "I must say that is a small shock," said Luke. "Well, you might want to cover your ears and hid, I'm going to fire," I said. holding out the gun. "You wouldn't dare shoot me," he said. "Of course not, I'm giving it to you," I said giving it to him. "What the hell?" he asked. "Come on! try and shoot me" I said. "No way in hell," Luke said. "Fine then," I said walking away. Taking the gun. "If you won't shoot I  will," I said pointing it at a target I had made. BANG! I fired the gun. "It's a good thing I set this up," I said as a gun fired. I neatly dodged it. "DO YOU HAVE A DEATH WISH?" demanded Luke. "If I get hurt don't do anything," I said. "Why? you could die!" he said. "No I won't, at least it will take awhile, but I will get in trouble," I said. "What the hell are you talking about," asked Luke. When the guns ran out of bulets "Luke, I sugest you do what I say inless you want to die" I said holding my gun to his head. "How long have you known me?" I asked. For about six months" Luke said. "Well then you should have watched closer," I said. "Come with me," I said grabbing his arm. "I'm afraid that I will get in trouble for taking you hostage, but you know too much," I said. "Hello? I'm afraid that I was compromised, but I have someone valuable that has been here for longer than me" I said in Italian. "Yes, I'm on the roof," I said talking into a phone. "I know," I said. Luke tried to run while I was talking. "One second," I said chasing after Luke. "Unless you want to die then I suggest staying here, I'm not afraid to use this, and you would be far from the first I've killed," I said. "Who are you?" asked Luke. "I'm afraid I can't tell you, I said. "Come to our ride is here," I said walking to the rope ladder. "I'm sorry, but I have Luke he knows the place like the back of his hand," I said to my handler. "What's going on?" Luke asked. "You see the school is not about training kids to help the world, that place is a secret terrorist group who use kids to do horrible things without realizing it," I said. "I was sent to try to stop them, but when they saw me dance I was compromised. I had to get out, and now we have you" I said. "What do you do?" Luke asked. "May I tell him?" I asked my handler. "I suppose so," he said. "We stop people like them," I said. "Me and a few other girls around my age, we are all orphans who were given a second chance. I was hit by a train before I came. I had to get a fake leg and arm." "We were taught to kill with guns and went on missions to stop bad people," I said. "Oh and if you didn't get it, I'm a cyborg," I said.

War in Me Chapter 1

I've always tried to be the best, tried to show everyone they were wrong, tried to be strong. I am. Well on the outside, I've outsmarted every boy in my class, beaten them in combat. I learned not to show emotion because it is a sign of weakness. I did everything to look strong. I walled off my heart, so much that if I wanted to I couldn't make a crack in the wall no matter how hard I tried. When I look in the mirror I see a blank face. I see my bright unnatural light sapphire blue eyes staring back at me. I drift through every day, it's like I'm asleep mentally but awake physically. "Hey, Sapphire! How are you?" asked my friend. "Good," I said not paying attention. "Are even paying attention?" they asked. "Sure," I said with a dazed look. "Lier," they said. I only woke up during combat training. "Ok class today we're doing hand to hand combat," said the instructor. "Sapphire you and Luke are up first. IAs soon as I was on the platform I was awake. I got into a ready position and charged. I didn't stop for a second, it's like I was doing a dance trying to trip Luke who was always moving. I managed to knock him to the ground and pin him down. Some of my black hair had come loose from its loose ponytail during the fight. "Sapphire wins," said the instructor. I helped Luke up. "Thanks," he said panting. I just shrugged.
   That night I walked up to the roof as usual and started doing a dance, a fast labret dance that was also deadly. I held out my spear and used it as a tool to help me dance and fight. "Wow," said someone behind me. I turned around to see Luke. "That was amazing, why do you do it, though?" Luke asked walking towards me. "You realize I have a spear in hand and I'm amazing with it," I said teasing. "So?" said Luke. "Go," I said. "I think I'll stay," he said. "You were really good," he said. "I know," I said. "Why do you do it in secret?" he asked. "Stop being nosey," I said. I stood tense. "If I dance you need to swear to never tell anyone," I said. "Fine, I swear," he said. I closed my eyes and started dancing in a whirlwind with my spear. I lost myself in the dance and when I opened my eyes Luke was staring at me. "Coe on its almost morning," I said walking away.
    The next day I felt Luke watching me. I wanted to dance so bad that as soon as all the classes were over I went to the roof not caring that it was day and started dancing, I danced for what seemed like hours. When I stopped Luke was watching me again. "What are you doing here?" I demanded. "I wanted to see you dance, your amazing," he said. "Well, you saw" I snapped. I didn't care if Luke was watching I started dancing again with fury going faster and faster and when I was done I was breathless. Luke said nothing.
   I was walking in the hall the next day when I heard, "Dude! Did Luke told me that he thought he was in love with Sapphire! She's so strong and so freaking powerful if he ever told her she would squish him like a gnat" laughed a boy to his friend. That day we had hand to hand combat and I was with Luke again. I heard a few boys hoot quietly. I was filled with rage and when we started I was so fast it was like I was flying. I beat Luke in ten seconds flat. When I was getting a few things from my locker when Luke tripped by me. I saw a few guys snickering. "What are you doing?" I asked. "Nothing, I just wanted to tell you something," said Luke. "Well spit it out," I said. "I-I," he said. I raised an eyebrow. "I love you" he whispered. I punched him in the nose. "NEVER SAY THAT AGAIN OR YOU'LL GET MORE THAN A BLOODY NOSE," I said walking away. That night Luke was back. "What?" I asked. "I meant it when I said I loved you," he said. "You realize I have a spear in my hand right?" I said. "Yes, I just wanted to tell you it was true," he said. "Don't you dare say that again," I said. "What? That I love you?" he said confused. "Yes," I growled. "Why?" he asked. "Please don't say you love me because I might not say it back," I said then punched him in the nose again. "YOU BROKE MY FREAKING NOSE!" Luke roared. "I warned you" I said walking away...

Nutty Nicole Chapter 23

I'm at a new school in California with Rachel. My dad said there was an infestation of mean girls in the Hollywood Academy. "Ok Rachel ready for our first assignment? I'm nervous about the school" I said making small talk. "Me too Ruby, and remember my name is Miky," said Rachel. We could never say our real names. "Oh right! I keep forgetting that you're not your sister" I said lying. "Hey you two, I was told to go with you at the last minute so you didn't have to much fun," said Nathan. "Hi, Isn't the weather nice," I said. "Sure is, I'm Ethan," said Nathan whispering the last part. "Come on, we should go in now so we're not late," I said walking in. "Hi, me and my friends are new here and were wondering if we could have our schedules, kids, " I said at the front desk. "Here you go kids, you all have the same classes," said the lady at the desk. "Thanks," I said. Me and Rachel had hoods covering our face and Nathan had a baseball cap on hiding his face. "Let's go to homeroom you guys," said Nathan. "Ok Ethan," said Rachel. When we got to homeroom we sat down together. "Hey look's like we got some new losers" called a boy when we walked in. We didn't pay him any attention and went to the back of the room. "Ok class, we have three new students, please come up and introduce yourself," said the teacher. "Hi I'm Micky," said Rachel first. "I'm Ethan," said Nathan. "I-I'm Ruby," I said. We had a job, Rachel would become popular, Nathan would become a jock, and I would be unpopular and we would try to break the labels and stop the mean girls from being so mean. We sat back down. "You ok Ruby? You seem kind of nervous. We've told you hundreds of times that you shouldn't be so shy," said Nathan. "I can't help it," I said pushing my glasses up (they were for effect) "Are you trying out for the football team Ethan? You're so good!" said Rachel. "I sure am, and you should be a cheerleader, last year you were the head," said Nathan. "I might try out for drama," I said. "You like totally should! Ruby your so amazing!" said Rachel playing her part well. "Maybe I could if I wasn't so shy" I muttered.
   At lunch Rachel sat with the popular kids, Nathan sat with the jocks and I sat on my own. It was just as we had planned. When I was walking to my table with my lunch one of the girls from Rachels table tripped me making me drop my food. "Hey! why did you trip her?" asked Nathan. "It was an accident," said one of the girls. "Here let me help you, Ruby," said Nathan helping my get my food and threw it away. "Thanks, Ethan," I said.Too bad my mom only gave me five dollars," I said sounding sad. "I guess I'll have to skip lunch today," I said walking away. "Here, Take half my bagel I don't need it," said Rachel. "Thanks," I said taking it smiling.
   "Hey, Ruby want to hang at my place?" asked Nathan. "I would love to but I need to help my mom with work. Maybe some other time" I said. "Oh, why do you need to work?" asked Nathan. "Since my dad left me and my mom have barely scraped by, the only reason I'm here is because I'm a good actor and the school said that they would let me come for free," I said. "Shoot! I have to go right now!" I said running down the street. I meet up with Nathan and Rachel who gave their reports to show the mission had gone well so far. "I swear! I really want to give them a good scare! They drove me crazy!" said Rachel.  "The jocks were shallow and stupid so we guessed right," said Nathan. "Great!" I said. "Let's do the scare in about one or two weeks," I said. "It's going to take forever!" said Rachel.
   "Hey loser!" said a kid on the second week. I was at my wits end with them. "Change of plans let's do it in two days before I do a mass murder" I whispered in homeroom. "Agreed," said Nathan and Rachel. "Then we better prepare tonight and take a sick day tomorrow," I said. "I'm in," said Rachel. "I'll hit the Halloween store after school and other places to get stuff," I said. When we were at the apartment we set up a little bit. I reviled my devil features. "Finally! their's only so much magic I can do to hide these at a time" I said flying around the place. The next day we prepped for our scare. "Come on! let's go!" I called the next day. "Isn't it so weird that we're all related? I mean long lost siblings! it's amazing. And the strangest thing is we've known each other for years" I said on homeroom. "It's so strange Ruby" agreed Nathan. "Hey, you guys! want to come over to my place?" asked Nathan at lunch. "Hey everyone, I just had the best idea! We could have a sleepover at my place!" said Rachel.
   That night The girls came and saw the boys coming. "Hey why are you here?" the all said. "Hi guys!" said Rachel walking out the door at once. "Hi," I said walking out behind them. "Come on in!" I said. "Why are you three here? I didn't know you lived together. "Well we are long lost siblings, and we are orphans who only have each other," I said. "Now come on! we have a lot of room" I said smiling. They shuffled in unsure. As soon as the where in I locked the door. Me, Nathan and Rachel had our faces covered. "Welcome to our home," I said. "Please come this way," said Nathan. "Why are you acting so strange?" one of the girls asked Rachel. "This is how we always are," said Rachel. "Ethan, the door" I comanded. "Sure thing," said Nathan. "You people really are stupid," I said. "Hey!" said one of the girls, trying to get out. "You can't leave yet, we haven't had any fun" I growled. "Micky, Ethan how about we show out guests out true faces," I said lowering my hood. to show my ruby red eyes, blood red lips, and pale skin. Rachel and Nathan lowered their hoods to show that they looked the same but with two small holes on their necks. "Now, how about we start the fun," I said pulling out a knife. Rachel and Nathan did the same. Everyone screamed. "No one can hear you, this room is soundproof so no one can help you now," I said walking. to them slowly. I brought out the stamp and stamped their wrists. "Let me introduce us, we are the Demon Academy," I said smiling in a crazy way. "No way! My mom said that they were fake! A hox so that the news had a story!" said one of the girls. "Then you can tell her she was wrong," I said. When we were done they had screamed a few dozen times. when they ran out around midnight I called "Thanks for coming! We had so much fun! Maybe you can come over again!"
   We had packed up and the next day the kids kept telling everyone about it. "You must be mistaken, I was helping my mom yesterday," I said when they accused me then smiled my crazy smile. "I was watching a football game with my big brother," said Nathan. "I was shopping at the mall," said Rachel. We've done our job here" I said when school was over. We got on a train and went back to the academy. "You kids have done well," said my dad. I am very proud of all three of you. This one will be the best yet!"

Cat Thief Chapter 16

I stayed in my room for the next three days not seeing anyone. I spent my time meditating and trying not to then about the article. On the third day, I snapped and went down to my workshop and started building whatever came to mind, it was totally random until I realized that in the depths of it I could see Jacks face. I tossed it aside in anger. The article was getting to my head. I gathered all the breakable things that one on would miss like a few plates and glasses. I started smashing it against the wall of my workshop one by one and any big pieces that had survived I threw again until there were nothing but shards, then I had an idea. I took all the pieces and melted them then made them into some extremely hard ball thing. Then started trying to break it with a hammer. I found this kind of soothing. When I turned around and saw Jack. "What are you doing here?" I asked. "Just wanted to see if you had come out of your room and heard a few loud crashes," said Jack. "Just blowing off some steam," I said. "I figured that out," said Jack. "Why are you just standing there?" I asked. "If you want to come in you can you know, no one's stopping you," I said. "Ok," said Jack stepping in the mess of my workshop. I went to the mini fridge and pulled out two Cokes and handed one to Jack. He took it and sat down. "Thanks," he said. "I was wondering if you would want to have another picknick in the garden" he casually. I took a  big gulp of Coke to delay what I would say. "Sure, I don't have anything I have to do" I mumbled. "Cool," he said smiling, how about we do it in an hour so we can get some food ready," Jack said. "Sure," I said.
    I waited in the garden for Jack with some food. I tried to hold back on blushing and failing horribly. I sat down on the blanket and waited. I looked up a few seconds later to see Jack running to me. "Sorry I'm late, my dad just had to teach me a new fighting move and wouldn't let me leave," said Jack rolling his eyes. "I can imagine," I said falling back into me and Jacks old routine. We talked for a bit about some stuff happening in the palace. "Men! I totally forgot that the ball the King is throwing is in three days!" said Jack. "I can't believe I forgot! It's the biggest social event of the year" said Jack. "I forgot about that too," I said. "Sam is actually the one who is getting the palace ready for the ball," I said. "How is Sam anyway?" asked Jack. "Oh she's fine she really likes doing work in the palace," I said. "You talk about her like she's human? Why is that?" asked Jack. "I programmed her to be almost human, the only difference is she doesn't have blood," I said. "Hey Jenny I was wondering if you would want to come to the ball with me," said Jack. I felt my face turn red. u-um" I stuttered. I couldn't think straight. I could feel my face getting redder by the second. "Um," I stuttered. I was sure my face was bright red at that point. "It's okay if you don't want to," said Jack. "I-I'll go" I blurted. "Cool," Jack said smiling. My face was still hot so I ran back to the palace in embarrassment. When I got to my room I flopped on my bed. I fell asleep and when I woke up I watched the news. The first story was about how I was asked to go to the ball by Jack!!!  I watched in horror and spat out the water I was drinking. THEY EVEN HAD A VIDEO OF JACK ASKING ME!!!!!! I turned off the TV and covered my face. Great! Now the whole kingdom knew about it!
    The next day my dad called me to the throne room to talk to me about Jack asking me to the ball. "What do you have to say for yourself Jenny?" demanded the King. I stood silently not trusting myself to talk. "The news has spread farther than the kingdom and I know for a fact that quite a few princes were going to ask you to the ball, and you say yes to the head guards son!" yelled my dad. "I don't even know those princes, and their's no way I would ever say yes to one of those shallow boys!" I shouted. "You wouldn't have had a choice! I was actually going to invite them to stay after the ball so you could get to know them" said my dad. "WHY WILL YOU NEVER LISTEN TO ME!?" I yelled at him. "BECAUSE I AM KING AND KNOW WHAT'S BEST FOR MY DAUGHTER!" Yelled my dad. "DO YOU TINK I ASKED TO BE A PRINCESS? I DIDN'T! IN FACT, I WAS DOING JUST FINE BEFORE I BECAME A PRINCESS!" I yelled. "I don't care, you will get to know these boys and you will not be mean to them," said the king. "And you are not allowed to see Jack anymore," said the King. "I'll do as you say for now father, but you should learn to never try to control me or bad things will happen, I thought you knew that," I said wand stalked out of the room. "Why where you and your dad fighting about this time?" asked Jack walking in. I was trying to hold back tears. "He said I can't see you, and that I'm going to meet some stupid princes and that they'll be staying for awhile so I can get to know them. He never listens to me. You shouldn't be here" I said bursting into tears. "Calm down Jenny, I don't care what that king says and as far as I know I'm not going anywhere, " said Jack sitting beside me. "I do have one question, though, did you mean it when you said yes?" he asked. "Yes, I did want to go but I guess that's not happening," I said. "I don't give a damn!" exploded Jack. "I don't care what he says! Jenny, I need to tell ever since I first met you I loved you, I love you and I'm not letting anything stop that, not even the king" said Jack. "I love you too, and I'll never love anyone else," I said. "You have to go or guards will come", I said. "Sure," said Jack. "I CAN'T BELIVE YOU JENNY! I THOUGHT THAT WE WERE FRIENDS! BUT I GUESS NOT!" Shouted Jack suddenly, then winked at me. "AND I CAN'T BELIVE I TRUSTED YOU! I HATE YOU JACK NOW AND FOREVER!" I  shouted playing along. "Punch me" Jack whispered. I threw a punch as hard as I could. "WHAT THE HEAK WAS THAT FOR!?" roared Jack. "THAT WAS FOR YOU BEING A COMPLET JERK AND IDIOT!" I screamed. "What's going on princess?" asked a guard who had heard us fighting. "What are you doing in here? The king gave strict orders to make sure you came nowhere near the princess" growled the guard. "You're coming with me," said the guard grabbing Jacks arm.
   On the day of the ball true to his word about ten princes were at the ball. They were total idiots that only cared about themselves but I had to pretend to like them. They fell for it and asked me to dance with them. I said yes but inside I just wanted to punch them. Half way through I wanted to claw my ears off. The boys only talked about themselves. I talked to other people at the ball and stole things like rings from them and stored them in a secret pocket in my dress. I was trying to get enough money to try to run far away with Jack. I walked out to the garden at some point in the night and sat down on a bench. I undid the bow That I had to wear in public from now on and undid it. And revealed my cat ears. I sighed relieved to finally not be deaf. with the bow, it felt like I couldn't hear. I put it back up. I had to pretend to be human. One of the princes approached me a few minutes later. "Jenny it would be my greatest pleasure if you would please marry me," he said getting on his knees. I was dumbfounded. I couldn't speak. "I-I," I said. "Yes?" he asked waiting for an answer. I got up and ran. "Wait!" he called chasing after me. "GO AWAY!" I cried and started running faster. "Wait! I must know your answer!" he cried. I kept running. I ducked under a low tree branch and my bow caught on is and tore off. My ears were exposed. He gasped. "Y-your a filthy cat person!" he accused. "Yey! you finally caught up! Do you want a sticker?" I asked pretending like he was a little kid. "You aren't the princess! your an imposter!" he cried. "No, I'm not. And if I had said yes to your proposal you would have found out much later when you couldn't change it, so isn't this better for both of us?" I said looking at my nails. "You wouldn't have said yes?" he said. "Of course! We met four hours ago" I said rolling my eyes. "I see" he sad. "And I am going to tell the guards that you are an imposter," he said. "You'll be disappointed," I said. "Now I need to get back to the ball before I'm missed," I said taking out another ribbon and putting it in my hair. I walked back to the ballroom and pretended to have fun. Then all of a sudden right in the middle of the room the most shallow prince of the bunch got on his knees and asked me to marry him. I stood there staring at him for five minutes with my mouth open. I didn't know what to say. Everyone looked at me waiting for my response. I didn't move, frozen as a statue. "I-I don't know what to say" I finally whispered. "Then say yes" he practically begged. I turned white and fainted, of course, it was all fake but I didn't know any other way to get out of it. I heard people whispering. the prince said "Cold feet, she couldn't handle how amazing I am." I pretended to wake up a minute later. "Where am I? Why am I here?" I asked the prince. "Who are all you people? And why am I wearing a ribbon and such  a fancy dress?" I asked confused. "You don't know who I am?" asked the prince. "Yes, I'm sorry should I know you?" I said. reached up to pull off the ribbon. "I'm sorry but I don't know why I'm here I'm no one special I'm just a girl from the outskirts of town. I don't know why so many people are here? Is this a gift?" I asked pointing to the ribbon. "I'm sorry but I can't accept it," I said taking it off and showing my cat ears to everyone. The prince gasped. "I think I should go, I don't want to ruin this wonderful looking event," I said trying to get up. "Princess, you must have hit your head, please come with me," said a person. "Where? I should be getting home now" I said trying to go for the exit. "Oh on princess, this is your home," he said.
   When I woke up I was relieved to be out of the ball. It was so easy to fool people. I sat up in bed to see the prince who had proposed to me in the ballroom. I punched him in the nose. "Sorry, you scared me, not GET OUT OF MY ROOM!" I shouted. "You remember what happened last night?" he asked. "Yes," I said. "Then is it a yes or a no?" he asked. "GET OUT!" I shouted shoving him out the door then I closed it and locked it. "Finaly! peace" I said sitting down. "Now I need to figure out how to get rid of all these pesky princes, permnently" I said. Little did I know that the prince who had proposed to me in the garden was listening to my every word...

The Gamers Curse Chapter 10

"Look it's the Death Hunter," said a few players when me and my friends walked into a little restaurant place. We walked to a table in the corner where we celebrated. "Hey how about we go and check out some dungeons and level up" I suggested. "We could find some info," I said to everyone. "I'm game," said Eito. "Excuse me, but we overheard you talking about going to a dungeon and were wondering if we could come," said a player and his friend. "Fine, but we're going to be going to one of the hard dungeons," I said taking a sip of my drink. "When were you planning on going? I heard that one of the dungeons that are really hard is going to try to be cleared by a bunch of players on about an hour and a half" one of them said. "Well, I'm not going to let them clear that dungeon, how about we show them how strong we are?" I said to everyone. "Let's go!" cried one of the girls. "N-now?" asked one of the players gulping. "Yeah now? Why?" I asked. "I don't have any good guns on me" both the players said. "We'll wait for half an hour," I said itching for battle. The two players bolted for the door to get their stuff.
  While we walked down to the dungeons the two players told us their names were Marsh and Ray. When we got there we waited for a bit for the big party to arrive, we all thought it would be fun to see their faces when we were done. We saw them in the distance the where running. The leader saw us when they got close. "Hey! we're going to clear this dungeon out for the way noobs!" he said. I pulled out my sword and made it go its full distance and let the tip touch his throat. "I'd rethink that if I were you," I said glaring at him. "Sir that's the Death Hunter," said one of the men. "I'm well aware of that," he said. "Come on guys lets give it a shot whhile these players are gearing up," I said walking in to the dungon. I was a blur while I swung my sword at the beast. We were done within half an hour. When we walked out I was smiling from ear to ear. "I think there are a few more minions for you guys to kill if you want," I said as we walked by.

Cat Thief Chapter 15

My new tablet was released a week ago and I made it official the humans and Meif'wa are equal and people have to serve both. That was my deal with my dad to make a new improved version of my tablet. Mine is, of course, better and completely implacable since there are zero blueprints or anything showing its design. "Hey Jenny, how are you?" asked Jack he had been popping up more often since I had been making the tablet. "I'm good, I was going to grab some lunch downtown," I said planning to go to the old restaurant I used to work at. "Can I come with you?" asked Jack. "Sure," I said. "Where is it?" he asked. "It's downtown and I used to work there, it was kind of my cover story so that I was less noticeable, unemployed people are suspected of stealing more than people with a job because they make a living, even if it is small," I said. "You thought of everything so you wouldn't get caught," said Jack trying to catch up to me. "That was the plan, my dad doesn't even know about me stealing so don't tell him," I said looking at Jack. "Sure thing," said Jack. "I'll tell you something really important and you can't tell anyone ever," youI said as we neared the gates. "What?" asked Jack. "Swear your life before I tell you, I need to make sure you won't tell anyone," I said. "Fine I swear not to tell anyone," Jack said sounding annoyed. "You know the robbery at the Langs a little while ago? It was me" I said. "WHAT!" shouted Jack. I covered his mouth. "Shut up or the guards will come" I hissed. "Ok," he said. "Can you tell me how you did it?" he asked. "Fine, I pretended to drop a piece of paper and when I did I pretend to stretch and put a pebble on the window sill where it closed and I came back at night and opened it and took some stuff, it was child's play," I said. "now lets stop talking about this stuff" I said. "Sure," Jack said. When we got to the restaurant I walked in and saw my old boss. "Hey, princess. I didn't think you would bother to show up because now you're the princess. "Of course I'd come, boss, The food isn't half bad here and it brings back good memories from before I was royalty," I said. "How many?" he asked. "Two," I said, He grabbed to who hand written menus that were beaten up. I ordered some soup and Jack ordered the same thing. "So how long did you work here?" Jack asked. "I started hanging around here a little while after the orphanage burnt down, I begged here by the back for the food," I said. "It reminds me how different my life is than it was back then," I said. "The boss would give me leftover scraps of food and I would clean the place after hours for him in return. I was managed to survive and I learned to beg to people outside where the rich people lived and they would give me a few coins and some money if they were feeling nice" I said, I gave a bit of it to the boss and kept some for me" I said. "Wow, how often did you get things from begging?" Jack asked. "I usually got some money every few days and I got some food about every other day. I sometimes got a whole apple and was so hungry I would eat the whole thing and get in trouble for being greedy and have to work harder than usual to make up for it" I said. "That must have been hard there," said Jack. "It there were many nights I only had a few scraps and I could count my ribs," I said. When our food came I ate it fast trying to savor the taste but I was hungry. Jack wasn't so keen to eat it, he looked like he didn't like it. "Don't you like it?" I asked. "It's nice but I prefer things from the palace," said Jack taking a small sip of it. "Live bit, you need to learn about what everyone here goes through, lighten up a bit," I said elbowing him. "But I don't like it," he said. "Then follow me I'll show you where I used to live," dragging Jack out the door but I left a few bills that the boss could get some apples and make a special. Apples were rare in these parts. "Hey!" Jack protested. "Come on, you want to know about my life before I was a princess? This is your chance" I said not loosening my grip on his arm. When we got to my apartment I opened the loose floorboards and took out my few possessions that I ad kept here for safe keeping. It was a neckless that I had gotten from my mom and the ring I had taken plus some emergency cash. "Where did you get that neckless?" asked Jack. "My mom gave it to me, at least that's what I was told in the orphanage," I said. "Let's go there nothing more here," I said turning around. "S-sure," Jack said following me. "Come on I want to take you to a great bakery that makes amazing donuts," said Jack. We walked Jack was leading me. When we got there it said: HUMANS ONLY! "Oh, I forgot Meif'wa's wasn't welcome," said Jack. "Well, we are now, thanks to the new law" with I growled marching in the bakery. When I walked in with Jack close behind me everyone's heads turned to look at me. "Hey! get out of here filthy cat!" growled the owner. "No, " I said glaring at him. "Can you read? Wel, let me tell you what the sign says! HUMANS ONLY! YOU ARE NOT A HUMAN SO YOU CAN'T BE IN HERE!" He yelled. "Not according to the new law you need to serve everyone who comes in" I growled. "Oh yeah? Who's gonna stop me?" he asked. "Me," I said getting into a fighting position. "Um, sir, that-" "SHUT UP!" shouted the owner to a customer. I jumped on him and flipped him to the ground and made short work of him. "I'm disappointed, I thought you would be harder to fight. "Jack, can you get some guards? Tell them that the princess needs them" I said holding the owner down the whole time with his arms behind his back. "Move an inch and I'll break your arm" I growled. "You wouldn't, you're not the princess," said the owner. "Really?" I asked. "Of course, a meif'wa could never be royalty" he growled. "I will break your arm, and you'll be far from the first I've left with a broken bone after a fight with me," I said. "Princess what is it?" asked a few guards. "This man has broken the newest law by not letting Meif'wa's eat here and he threatened me and said I wasn't the princess," I said "you are under arrest by order of the princess" one of the guards. "YOU CAN'T DO THIS TO ME! I'M INNOCENT!" Cried the man. "No your not and that sign proves it," I said pointing to the sign. "Come on Jack it's clear that we won't be getting any donuts here let's go somewhere else, somewhere with better service," I said. "Sure," said Jack. "You need to learn to not loose your head so easily," said Jack as we walked. "What do you mean? I'm fine" I said. "calm down" Jack. "So what if I do get angry? I just want to make this place the best it can be" I said. "I know but other people think we're fine and that we don' need change," said Jack. "I see," I said. Jack grabbed my hand and said "Let's go get some donuts I really feel like having something to eat" as he ran ahead not letting go of my hand and I stumbled along after him trying to keep up. I was blushing a bit from Jack grabbing my hand but he didn't notice, I thought I heard a camra snap but I figured I was just being paraoid.
   Later that day I was looking at the news on my tablet and saw a picture of me and Jack holding hands running and me blushing. The title said: Young Love? I was so mad. I shut off my tablet and flopped on the bed and looked up at the ceiling for a bit. "Hey Jenny, I thought you would want to see this said Jack holding up his tablet with the article. "Saw it, and I'm really mad," I said not looking at him. "Oh, I thought so, but I wanted to make sure," said Jack. He closed the door and left. I had one thing on my mind: Was I in love with Jack???
