"Princess," said the maid I had given a pancake too. "Hi," I said, I was working on a new invention. "I have your lunch," she said setting down the tray. "Thanks, you know you can always take some if you need, I don't need it all," I said not looking up. "Thank you miss," she said.I kept working through the night and all the next day. I was working hard to replicat my tablet that I had made a while ago and improve it as much as I could. I was so tired, but I wanted to dinsh it as much as posible. It was ment to go public in a few days. Same price for everyone. I felt a sharp tug on my hhair. I turnrd around with red-hot fury inside me. I had unshethed my claws. "Whow!" cried Jack. I punched him as hard as I could. "OW!" he complained. "NEVER DO THAT AGAIN!" I growled. "Fine," he said. "Hows that tablet coming?" asked Jack looking over my sholder. "It's slow proses," I said yawning and taking a sip of extremly strong coffee. "I didn't know you liked coffe," said Jack. "I don't bbut I stand it so I can get my work done," I said taking a nother sip trying not to gag. "When xwas the last time you slept?" askedJack. "About three or four days ago. I can't remamber" I said my head drooping before I snapedit up and picked up my screw driver. "You need sleep now," said Jack. "NO!" I cried. "I have to finish this," I said. "You won't be able to do anything until you sleep, and I will give you sleeping sirum if I have to," said Jack. "Fine," I said getting up and imidiatly cloapsed into his arms. "How long have you been sitting their?" asked Jack. "For a while," I said dozing off. Before I knew it I was asleep right in his arms. He picked me up bridsmaid style and caried me to my room. and put me on the bed.
   When I woke up my face was burning bright red. I put my pillow on my head and moaned. I got up then ran downstairs to my lab. Where I started working. "Nice to see your up, you were out for a little longer than a day," said Jack walking in. "WHAT!" I yelled. I cheaked over my work and added the panel a fewhours later. "Done!" I proclaimed. "Great, how about you celabreat by having lunch in the gardens with me," said Jack. I looked away felling my face burn. "I guess," I said. "Coll Jen," said Jack. "I need to get somthing from my room quickly," I said. My dad had told me not to wear my old cloths outside, now that everyone wanted to see me and take pictures of me. I changed into a white skirt and navey blue swetter. I put my light whitish pink hair into pigtails. I walked down to the garden. "Hi," said Jack. "Hi," I said walking up to him. He had some sandwitches and drinks and some other stuff. "The food looks good," I said trying not to blush. "Thanks," said Jack. We sat down and started eatting. I heared a click a little bi away. "Wait a second, I need to do somthing," I said getting up and brought out my claws I walked into the woods a few feet and saw a photoghper hiding behind a tree. "What are you doing in the royal gardens?" I asked. The photogrpher fell over. "Princess, I didn't know you where here!" lied the pohtogpher. "You know that people can't come onto the garned without a royal pass," I said. "If you show me I won't call the gards," I said. "Uuuu, I forgot it? " said the photogrpher wincing. "Given me the camra, I want to make sure you didn't take any pictures of anyone," I said. Their was a picture of me and Jack etting lunch. I deleted it. "GARDS!" I called. draging the photogrpher out of the woods. "Please escort this photogrpher to the gate," I said smilling acting nice with my claws on. "Of course princess," said one of the gaurds. "Sorry about that," I said to Jack sitting back down. "It's fine, The photogrpheres are really anoying," said Jack. "What dose that tablet do?" asked Jack. I explained it to him in a much english as I could. "That's so cool," said Jack. "And it's really cheap so everyone can afford it," I said. "That's amazing!" said Jack. "It's nothing I said blushing a little. "When and how did you biuld your tablet?" asked Jack. "I made it three years ago when I was elven, I stole almost all the parts, and bought a few small peices of paper and cut them up so I could use them to print things," I said. "How long did you steal?" Jack asked. "Since I was like five, that's when the orphanage burned down and a few of us were kicked to the curb because there wasn't enough room in the replacement building, remembering the horible fire. "That's horible!" said Jack. "I know, but I managed. I had to do what I did to live" I said felling uncomfterbul. "Jack, how did you get her?" I asked. "My dad's the head guard, He taught me combat wanting me to follow in his footsteps," said Jack. I spat out the water I was drinking. "That idiot is your dad!" I cried. "You're so different from him," I said. "Though now I do understand why I bet you both in a fight and escaping" I said. "Come on!" cried Jack, I've changed since that" he said.
