The Huntress Chapter 2

I wake one night a few weeks after I came to Hell to hear crying. I see the door open and walk up my bow drawn. I turn down a corridor and see nonother than Nicole crying in her sleep holding a teddy bear holding a heart that says "I love you" "Nicole sleeps with that thing every night. You have no idea how heartbreaking it is to see her in the morning her eyes bloodshot and a runny nose sniffing. She hasn't been the same since Amelia killed her boyfriend Nathan. They dated in secret the only person who didn't know was her dad. Nicole and Nathan were soulmates. Nathan could keep up with all her crazy and kept her from going out of control. But now without him, Nicole is a shell of her former self. She's always in Hell looking for Nathan's soul she wants to resurrect him but her uncle has told her it's impossible. We've tried everything to help her. Nothing works, she cries herself to sleep every night and you can hear her wailing when the memory of watching him die plays in her head," says Ana. "How did they meet?" I ask. "Nathan was sent my Nicole's dad to get her and bring her here on the way they fell in love and everything happened.Now without him, Nicole is turning back to how she was. She has a demon in her head again and no one knows how to kill it. The only thing that has helped Nicole this past year is training you and even that doesn't help much. I don't know what to do anymore I've tried everything I can think of," says Ana leaning on the door frame. "What if the reason you can't find his soul is because he's still alive," I say. "I thought of that but where would he be? Nicole has looked everywhere, literally," says Ana. "Amelia could be hiding him with magic," I say. "We used a tracker spell but it doesn't work," "I could do a tracker spell I'm really good with magic," I say holding out an arrow. I do an ancient elf tracking chant and the arrow glows green. "I can activate it when Nicole wakes up. This is old magic so it will work elfs are great at magic and have the hardest most ancient and best magic there is," I say. "Nathan!" Nicole wails and then she starts shaking with tears. "Nathan! No!" Nicole wails again. "Nathan is alive, the arrow is glowing green if he was dead then it would be blue," I tell Ana. Nicole shoots up katana in hand. "WHERE IS NATHAN!" she screams tears still in her eyes. "No he's gone," she says dropping the katana. "Nathan is alive the arrow never lies, you can track him it will point in his direction you can follow it and find him," I say. Nicole takes the arrow. And flies up into the sky. "Is it real?" asks Ana. "Yes it's real Nicole will find Nathan," I promise.

Mer of the Sea Chapter 1

I wake and see almost nothing. I look out my ship where I've been asleep the last thousand or so years. I was kept here where no one would find me until the apocalypse came I'm a special mermaid born every million years and even then are super hard to know who is apocalypse stopper. So far no one has been needed. But we were dying out and I was the only one saved made to wake when it was time. I grab my trident it is said to hold great power and was the position of Poseidon. I swim out of my ship and see black. I look up and see garbage floating above me. Swirling above my ship. I know it was caused by the spell. I swim close to shore and climb out of the water. I cast a spell that gives me legs and I walk up in a tank top and shorts with a floppy hat so I look like half the people on the beach. I walk to the town and look around. Someone shoves past me in a hurry and I fall into a dark alley. I'm bound and gagged in a millisecond. I look up to see two glowing red eyes then I pass out.
      When I wake I'm looking at two girls and elf and half-wolf. "Who are you? And why do you have a tail?" "I cast the spell silently then say "I'm Avalon and I'm a mermaid I'm here to stop the apocalypse," I say getting up. "Well we're going to train with the four and then defeat Amelia the one who killed everyone in her village and I'm here because I got kidnapped by a filthy cat," says the half wolf. "I was taken too," I say. "That must be why you were brought down here in handcuffs and ankle cuffs," says the elf. "What are your names?" I ask. "I'm Nala Starflower and this is Luna," Nala the elf says. "Hey now that you've introduced yourself we need to tell you the whole story," says a girl with glowing red eyes and red hair. "I'm Nicole, and you are here in Hell under what used to be the famous Demon Academy but now it is in ruins, everyone is dead except for me and my father. Amelia killed everyone with no mercy. I'm here because I tried to kill her and I failed the result was she killed everyone I loved except up four, you may have seen us," "This is Bullet Train," she says pointing to a blue haired girl. "This is Ana," She says pointing to a Meif'wa. "And finally Kata," says Nicole next to a girl with fire orange hair. "I know why we are here," I say. "I'm here to stop the apocalypse a spell was cast on me so I would sleep until I was needed because my kind was dying out, I'm guessing Amelia is the one I need to kill," I say picking up my trident. "Yes but you all need to train first or you will die and you guys are our only hope of survival," says Ana. "I've been training all my life but I'm down with doing more," says Nala. "I could use some tips, but I warn you I play dirty," says Luna holding her daggers smiling wickedly. "I can use some training," I say. We start training immediately and it's hard work Nicole and the others push us to our limit. Nicole is the one who insults us the most. She taunts Luna until she howls with rage and still she is not able to lay a blade on Nicole. "Don't get mad it will lower your chance of hitting your target, channel that anger into your bade and make one powerful move then back it up by moves weaker until you build up your rage. Your rage is your friend it gives you power," says Nicole hitting Luna once again. Then she falls down. "Too bad, you weren't looking over your shoulder or you would have seen me," says Nala climbing down from her nook she was sitting in to shoot Nicole she takes down Ana and Kata but Bullet Train gets Nala with a speed attack. I take down Bullet with the but of my trident. We train and train until finally we are able to take down Nicole and everyone else and are like sisters. We can read each other mind with just a glance. Even then we train more, we train more and more until we collapse from exhaustion. When we wake up we train some more and more and more. We train until we don't even need to look each other until we can take down Nicole, Bullet Train, Ana and Kata with our eyes closed. We train without our eyes so we learn not to use them, we train to kill. But not only kill to be able to save billions of people. When we are done we are not done beccause we will never be sone we will only just start over and over again with no end until the day comes we are ready to fight, to fight for our lives to fight for everyones lives.

Wolf Pack chapter 1

I travel with the pack hunting for food. I kill a crocodile and I help drag it back to the cave. I cook my food, the pack rips it apart. "Luna, you are not destined for this pack, you are to different, our ancestors tell me you will join a new pack soon enough," says the Alpha. "But I don't want to leave you are my family," I protest. "This is not debatable," the Alpha says. I grumble but say no more. Later I'm asleep when I hear a yap of pain. I see someone with what looks like... cat ears? "Who are you!" I say getting up. "I'm here for you, we need to get you to safety or you will die," says the figure. "I don't care what you say I'm not leaving my pack," I say. "You die if you don't and I need you!" she hisses. "Why should I trust a cat?" I ask spitting out the word cat like it's poison. "I don't like this either but if you don't come with me I will take you," she says a hand on her hip. "Take me? How?" I ask, She pulls out something and throws it on the ground next to me. It's knockout gas. I try holding my breath but I can't hold it very long I breathe in the gas and everything fades to black.
       When I wake I'm with another girl in what looks like a dungeon. "Hey welcome to Hell literally, they locked me down here and now you're here too, it's meant to for our 'protection' but I think it's just to keep us out of trouble and make sure we don't get away," she says that when I see her pointy ears, she's an elf. This just keeps getting worse and worse I think. "Hey sorry to keep you two in here but if you die we're all dead soo, we're just gonna keep you right here in Hell," says the cat walking in. "Why do you call it hell?" I ask. "Because you are in literal Hell it's the safest place for you to be since Amelia can't get here so your safe," she says. "So she says," says the elf rolling her eyes. "This is stupid let us out!" I demand. I pull out my daggers but they are gone instead there are two black razor-sharp daggers. "They took my bow too and gave me this better stronger bow with stronger silent arrows," she says. "I'm Luna, what's your name?" I asked holding out my hand. "Nala Starflower," Nala says taking my hand. I test my daggers I bond with them fast and I'm an animal again slashing and fighting in a blur. then the daggers are knocked out of my hands with two deadly sharp silent arrows. Nala smirks. "You're good, but who's better?" I wonder. We spare and spare until we pass out. It isn't all be being abducted and taken to America.

Rise Chapter 2

For years I've been in poverty, war zones and never with enough food. But then I came to America. In America we had food clothes everything, but nothing at the same time. We didn't have much money and little food, we had next to no experience with technology too. A few years later when I was eleven in fifth grade I was still very thin my brother Haw short for Hawthorn had started kindergarten that year and even after three years of good food we were all still lean and Mama's eyes were still sunken. Mama had learned English by then and Haw was learning both Arabic and English. He switched between both when talking because he was so little but I thought it was adorable. "Haw! Time for school come on the bus will be here soon," I say picking Haw up with his tiny backpack. "Sis I don't wanna go," he said. "You have to it's fun you can ride the plane after school ok?" I say before getting on the bus. I haven't seen Amir in years and I miss him he would be fifteen now. I have a few friends not too many but I have enough. They all say I'm really pretty but I know I'm too small compared to everyone else I'm the smallest in class. I know I look different from when I first came to America. But I know I'm different in a bad way. People look at me with sympathy I know why, I'm a refugee and they feel bad for me. It's my birthday and Mama treats me to a new outfit. I'm eleven and Haw is five he was two when we left Syria. He doesn't remember the starvation or the fear I remember so well. I found a super cute outfit that Mama got for me with some saved up money. I help Mama pay the rent on the house by walking dogs and babysitting. I make a fair amount of money. I put half in a big jar and keep half for myself. We save up money for me to go to college one day. It's slow but I hope to be their one day. When I grow up I'm gonna be a doctor and ave peoples lives.

The Huntress Chapter 1

Nala Starflower

1 YEAR AFTER AMELIA ATTACKED THE DA
I stalk the tiger I've been hunting for months. I ready my bow and aim for the leg of the tiger. I fire and the arrow, razor-sharp hits its target shattering the bone of the tiger. It screams and I jump down from my tree to make the kill. I shoot it in the head and then I cast a shrinking spell and put it in my sack and I walk back to the village. "I caught the tiger! Food for everyone!" I call to my small village. Everyone comes out cheering for both food and the fact I killed the tiger that had been attacking the elves of this village for so many moons. We have a feast eating tiger meat that tastes amazing. "Nala Starflower you outdid yourself," says one of the elders to me patting me on the back. I see something out of the corner of my eye. I grab my bow and fire. I hit a doll. More emerged from the woods. Then a girl walks out holding a doll then I see she's no human she's a doll herself. The dolls attack. I scream for everyone to run. I try fighting off the dolls. I'm knocked unconscious. Everything goes black.
     I wake to see a girl with blue hair looking at me. "Good you're alive we took forever to find you," she says. "Don't scare her! That's my job I'm the one who had to save her so I should tell her," ays a girl with red hair. "I'm Nicole or Kara whichever you prefer I don't mind, and this is Bullet Train. We could only save you, the girl who attacked you killed everyone in your village," says Nicole a grave face. "No, NO! I Must have saved them they are my family I had to save at least one of them!" I cry. "Amelia killed everyone I'm sorry The same thing happened to Nicole hereAmelia killed everyone she loved," says Nicole. "We think you are one of the four people capable of killing her. You're the first person we found and even then it took us a year of looking for you," says Nicole. "How did you find me?" I ask. "I made Viper here spy on you," says Bullet I see a snake wrapped around her arm. "You can avenge your friend's deaths all you need to do is help us," Nicole says leaning into me. "I'll do it and I'll help you destroy Amelia but I want the final shot,"
