Cat Thief Chapter 27

I've been hiding for a while in my time. Not very brave but I Don't really care, I'm happy staying here helping with everything. Nick wants to go back but I keep stalling until I get a message from Nicole. "Ana, you have to come back, I'm in hiding and I won't be in public but I want you to come back, you might be able to make something strong enough to hide me from my mom. I'm not kidding when I say that she's really dangerous, and you have to come back now. So, come back ok? We all miss you." "She's here!" "Come soon, mother's here and she won't leave without me" The video blinks out the lest thing I see is a pair of red eyes behind Nicole. When I see the message I tell Nick and we prepare to leave. 
      When we get back to everyone else I see Bullet and Kata. waiting for us. "Nicole and Nate are gone. We found this," says Kata giving me a note. I've taken Kara and her friend, she's staying with me from now on. Don't find us, if you try you'll die -Kara's mom
I stare at the note. "Tell me exactly what happened," I say. We walk to Nicole apartment building, their's only rubble left. It only had a few stories but there where many people living there and no one was found alive. A new caster is talking now. "No one was found, no one knows how this happened, two of the residents are unaccounted for and have not been found anywhere. Nicole Deveel and her friend Nathan Demane are missing. Nicole and Nathan go to the local high school and students and teachers all say that she and her group of her friends were all strange and didn't associate with anyone outside of their group. Sophie an old friend on Nicole's agreed to talk with us. Sophie walks in and it looks like she's crying, but we all know she's faking it, she hates Nicole and Nicole hates her. "It's terrible that Nicole and Nate are gone, We used to be really close," she says sniffing. I look at Bullet and pretend to gag. She smirks. Kata starts yelling in Japanese at Sophie. She walks up to Sophie and everyone can tell that she's chewing her out even if we can't understand. Well, I can, but it's better left unsaid. Everyone stares and Kata just keeps yelling at Sophie, when she's done she takes a breath then starts yelling at the news lady. Someone tries to drag her away but she kicks them and keeps yelling and cursing at everyone. "Translation?" Asks Bullet. "How dare you talk about Nicole like you care about her, you've always hated her because she was crazy and because she is friends with Nate, you crazy people leave my friends to rest in peace' followed by cursing, a lot of cursing. Now she's cursing the news lady and everyone that works for her 'Leave right now! Before I kill you all! You'll all die if you don't leave this instant!' and there's her knife, should we intervein? Or let her handle it?" I say to Bullet. "Nah this will be awesome let's stay here, and if things get messy we jump in, tell her not to hurt anyone, in Japanese of course. We don't need further investigation," says Bullet. I tell her over our comlinks so that I don't draw attention to everyone. Kata now has her twin daggers and is still yelling bloody murder at anyone who dares come close. Nico taps me on the shoulder. "Need me to calm her down? Or what?" he asks. "Give it a few more minutes then step in, she's not going to hurt anyone but it will get media attention," I say. After a minute Nico steps in and starts trying to calm her down. Kata talks to him for a second still waving her daggers around. "What's happening?" asks Bullet. "She's still mad, and she wants to make an impression on Sophie before she leaves and Nico keeps saying no. A knife flies out of Kata's hand at Sophie and she screams. The knife just gives her a little cut and then Nico takes her arms and drags her towards us. Kata says one more thing as she passes Sophie. "I'll say hi to the Devil for you," Nico and Kata walk towards us. "Nico let me go, I just wanted to cause a scene," she grumbles. "You hurt Sophie so no," says Nico. "Come on! It was only a little cut just deep enough to scar but she won't die or anything," says Kata. "No," Says Nico firmly. I look on YouTube "Hey Kata you went Viral, someone posted a video titles 'Crazy Asian yells at people during an interview, translation anyone?' Congrats, you're a crazy Asian now," I say. "Eh I don't really care, I just wanted to freak people out and it worked," Kata shrugs. "Ow! Nico, what the heck? I can't get out of your grip you don't need to make it tighter," Kata says glaring at Nico. "You shouldn't have gone Viral Kata," Nico says. "What are we going to do about Nicole? Her mom did say we would die if we tried to find them," says Bullet. "I'll come up with something, we just need to wait, I'll make something to make us stronger, for now, let's just make sure people don't talk about Nicole and Nate but maybe no cutting people, even just small cuts," I say. "Fine, Nico! Come on! Let me go!" Kata says trying to break free. Nico doesn't look at her. "Hey look it's the Crazy Asian," says a guy to his friend. Kata turns red for a second. She twists out of Nico grip and pounces on the guy. "You wanna go?" She demands. This time Nick drags her off the guy "Come on that's enough intimidation and violence for one day," He says. We walk back with Kata trapped between us so she can't go ballistic on anyone else. 
    In school the next day more than a few people refer to Kata as the 'Crazy Asian' and we have to stop her from attacking. "She's crazy! Like really! This might scar! Why did she do that!" says Sophie. "Relax if you keep it clean you'll be fine, but yes it will scar," I say. Sophie and her friends stare at me. "You and your friends are crazy!" She accused. "Be glad you'll only get a scar we can do much worse, you haven't seen half of how terrifying we can be," I say opening and closing my fist. I go sit down with Nick. "Are they giving you any trouble?" He asks. "No, it's fine, I was just making sure that they know that we can make life so much worse, to bad Nicole isn't here, she's much better at putting fear in people than me, too bad she's not," I sigh. "We'll find them," says Nick smiling at me. I smile back then text him with my glasses.

During class I don't listen I start planning a way to help get Nicole and Nathan back. I only stop after fifth period when we're going to lunch. "Has she killed anyone yet?" I ask Nico. "No Kata's been pretty good, no shouting, maybe it's time to take it to the next step," says Nico. "You mean, the next step in the DA? We stopped doing that a few months ago," I ask making sure no one hears me. "Maybe we should," says Bullet. "Later, now we just need to focus on Nicole and Nathan. Those Humans will never find them," I say we walk into the cafeteria and get some food. Everyone is staring at us again. "Well look what the cat dragged in," Someone snickers. Kata tenses up. "I am going to kill someone if they don't shut up," she says through gritted teeth with a smile. Nico nudges her and she deflates a little. "Where do you think Ana got those clothes? Did she find them in a cat-infested Alley," says, someone. "I might just have to kill someone too if there are any more cat comments," I hiss. "No kidding I'm going to electrocute someone soon if I get too mad," says Bullet. Mike is next to Bullet. "Everything's gotten out of hand lately and with Nicole and Nate gone someone is going to explode, like a bomb with a broken stronger," says Mike. "Hey! Ana! Where did you find your boyfriend? An alley Or did he walk in front of a black cat?" someone calls. "That's it," I stand up and look for the person who made the comment. Some guys are snickering at the joke. I stalk over to them. "You got something to say to me? Or are you going to hide behind a poodle?" I growl. "Sure, if you're scared of poodles," says one of the boys. My fingers tense up and take a pouncing stance. "Ohh is someone going to show us their claws, oh wait, you where declawed." Nick put a hand on my shoulder. "Be careful Princess, not yet. it's too soon. Remember the timelines," He whispers. "Right, I forgot that I swore not to kill anyone just yet. You're lucky that I'm sparing you for now, because one day you will regret what you said," I say my hand is on the table and I rake my claws on the table before walking away. "Thanks, Nick, without you they would be dead and I would be caught. Now here I've found Nicole and Nate. I don't have a way to save them but knowing where they are is the first step," I say giving everyone a screenshot of their locations that I got. "Wow they're pretty close," says Bullet "But heavily fortified and it's going to be hard for us to get anywhere close," I say. The bell rings and everyone gets up to leave. "Talk later, right now I need to make sure I don't reveal myself and kill anyone," I say. In class, I look around where Nicole is and I research, no one has seen what is there and anyone who tries had diapered. There is an investigation on Nicole and Nate but the humans can't find anything. I growl in frustration, this will be even harder than faking my death and running away from my father and stopping Mavis combined and those were relatively easy because I played my cards right. "Is there something you would like to share with the class Ana?" asks the teacher, everyone is looking at me. I guess I was a little too loud. I take off my glasses. "Solve this problem Ana and I won't suspend you," says the teacher handing me a dry erase marker to solve the complex problem that is way to hard for anyone here but, it's rather simple what you have an I.Q As high as mine. I smile, "I would be delighted but the problem seems much too advanced for anyone here," I say getting up. I take the marker and solve the problem in two minutes in the most complex way then I do it again in a simpler way. "Wait, was I only supposed to solve it the hard way or the harder way?" I asked pretending to look confused. Everyone stares at me. I yawn. "Can I go now? This class is boring," I say making myself look extremely bored. "No! This is school damn it! You can't leave whatever you want!" says the teacher furious. I roll my eyes and sit back in my seat. I don't think the teacher will care if I told him that I've already graduated from Harvard online. I put my glasses back in and continue my research on Nicole and her kidnapping I also start brainstorming weapons to make. When class is done the teacher stops me from leaving. "When did you learn to solve that problem Ana?" he asks. I shrug and walk out ignoring him. Three days, in Three days I'll reveal myself as part cat and leave this place forever. I walk home with Nick as always. "Any progress?" He asks. "No, but I'm going in the right direction, the humans are clueless and don't know what happened to Nicole and Nate, useless," I say. We pass the rubble and I smirk. "What are you thinking? Don't do it, Ana," says Nick when she sees me smirk. "Oh I was just thinking, what if something happened to the meager bits of evidence they have, that would be such a tragedy! And who would ever be able to break into a police station anyway?" I ask Nick being really dramatic. "I thought you where done with stealing," says Nick. I smile "It's what I'm best at," I say holding Nick wallet and phone. He tries to snatch them back but I dance just out of his reach. He gets madder by the second. "Give me my stuff back!" he says out of breath. "Or what?" I taunt. Nick pounces on me and knocks me over and we fall to the ground together. Nick takes his phone and wallet back while I'm catching my breath. He knocked the wind out of me. "I'll get you for that," I wheeze trying to breath again. "I still know a few tricks, Ana," says Nick gloating. I get up glaring. I make modifications to my weapons and I work for hours. "Princess, we need to leave now," says Nick walking in. "Ugh! I thought that I had a few hours to sleep," I say getting up. "You stayed up all night again didn't you?" Says nick not looking the least surprised. "Maybe just a little?" I say.
In half an hour I'm walking with Nick. I yawn and my eyelids feel like boulders are trying to push them down and make me sleep. Nick pitches me and I jump awake. "Here I get you a coffee," Says Nick handing me a coffee that he got from a cafe while I was spaced out. I take it from him and drink the whole thing feeling more awake. "Remember when I stayed awake for a week straight purely on supper strong coffee?" I say laughing. Nick smiles "Yeah Sam and I had to do an intervention, if you could OD on coffee you would be dead," says Nick. I laugh "I had a deadline and it was hard to make in such little time," I say. Nick just raises his eyebrow. "Says the girl who graduated from Harvard at fifteen. You haven't done anything that I would say would put you under pressure," says Nick. "Yeah well after school I'll pop by the police station, you'll hear it on the news tonight, don't wait up," I say. "Wasn't going to, I'd get caught," says Nick. I punch him in the arm lightly. "Of course you would, that's why I said not to wait up," I say. When we get to school I wave at Bullet and everyone. Then I turn around to Nick and kick him in the gut and knock him to the ground. I knock the breath out of him then I take his phone and wallet. "That's for yesterday," I smirk. "I thought you forgot with your all-nighter," says Nick panting. "Not likely, now we're even," I say helping him up. "Where were you yesterday Ana?" says Bullet when she sees me. "What are you talking about?" I ask. "You may have been in your room all day, I didn't want to bug you," says Nick sheepishly. "Do you want to die?" I demand. "Eh, it was one day of school, besides it's not like I need it," I say shrugging. In school everyone stares at me, I know why and I know what I have to do next. Someone posted the picture of me with my ears and tail out, it's grainy and hard to make out but there is something their, it's just hard to tell what. I hear whispering all morning and I don't even think about it, I've prepared for today for a while. Nick gives me a look when I see him heading towards the cafeteria. I give him a sly smile and walk over to him. "Everything's gone as planned, this will be a piece of cake, come on," I say grabbing Nick's hand. "Of course they won't know everything just a little more about my DNA and what can be seen," I whisper. "Hey," says Bullet next to me. "Hey, you know about today right?" I ask. "Of course I do, also good luck with the police," says Bullet. "I don't need luck, I have skill," I say holding Bullets money. "How?! I didn't even see your hand move!" She says shocked. "Skill," I say giving her money back. When I walk in I sit with everyone and we start talking and joking around. "What is she?" Not human that's what," "She is freaky," I hear people whisper. "Nicole would make everyone have a heart attack, too bad she had to miss it. She would have loved today," says Kata. "Yeah, well I'll record it for her," I say Hitting the record button on my glasses. "Me too," says Bullet bringing out her phone. "Three, two, One," I whisper when I hear it, everyone hears it. "I knew she wasn't a human I mean look at her fashion sense ugh, not even a robot could have fashion sense that bad," "A robot would be able to get to school on time," someone else says. I ball my left hand slowly. "She is so a mutant freak," is the last comment before I narrow my eyes and turn around looking angry. Like I said, I practiced what to do. I stand up and walked headed to the door. "Coward must be part of its programming," someone says.  I giggle that grows into an evil laugh, everyone stops talking. "You think I'm a robot? If I was a Robot I wouldn't be here, you humans really are stupid," I smirk turning around. "Then what are you?" says one of the guys I threatened two days ago say standing up. I laugh again and take off my glasses and look at him. My glasses make my eyes look human, they are really like cat eyes. People stare. "I guess I shouldn't pretend to be a human anymore, not like I could for much longer anyway," I sigh showing my ears and tail. Everyone stares at me. "And this is why I hide. Too bad I'm the first one to come out of hiding," I say looking around. "More? Of you! You're a freak!" says the guy shocked. "Do you mean that? You could be accusing your best friend of being a freak. Not very nice," I say shaking my head. One kid starts coughing and after a second a few people stand up glaring at their human friends. "And the revolution begins, I'll be around," I say sprinting away silently and fast, like a cat.
    I'm at the door of the police station when I get an idea. I walk around until I find what I'm looking for: a Tifinys. I walk into the store and hack the power grid. While I'm looking at everything the lights turn off. I unlock the cases and take everything after I conceal everything I get back into place and turn the lights back on. People gasp when they see everything gone. "W-what happened?" I whisper. then the speakers come on. "This building is rigged to explode in thirty seconds I'll be taking, don't expect to see it again," Says a male voice, I'm the first to sprint to the door and out. Everyone freezes when they see me run out. I've hidden my ears and tail, it's what I say that makes them freeze. "The building is going to explode everyone get away!" I scream in 'terror.' Ithe building doesn't explode but their are dozezns of cops around waiting with guns, I slip away. I go to the station and break in now that they are all gone. I take all of the evidence from Nicole and Nate's case and leave everything I stole from Tifiniys in a box saying Looking for these? Return them, I don't care. It's the least I could do since I took something of yours you get something back. I leave and call the cops with a voice modifier "The building is fine don't worry that was just to make you leave the police station, you took something that I need, you'll find what you want in a box. Don't worry it won't explode," then I leave. I meet everyone in mine and Nicks apartment. "I got it all, and I did it with style," I say. "In fact, it should be on the news now," I say turning on the TV. Breaking news, today a suspected terrorist attack took an unexpected twist. I'm here at Tiffany's the store that was robbed. The lights went out and there was no sound but when they where turned on everything was gone, as you can see with this video footage. Shortly after police were dispatched, they got a call from the same person. When they returned after the building didn't explode they found a box with everything that was stolen, but the thief took the evidence from the missing persons case with two teens who are nowhere to be seen and suspected dead. Also in a high school a mile away a video has gone viral of a student who appears to not be fully human, her teachers say that she never paid attention in class but got straight A's and a few days prior to the video she was able to solve a problem way above her grade level two different ways that are both correct. Apparently, she left school after that, but before she left people started showing the same abnormalities that she had and thousands more are being reported and have been living among us for years, no one knows what to think. There will be more information tomorrow, for now, that's all good night everything. The screen goes black. "That was amazing, wish I could've been their to see it," says Bullet smailing. "Come on, there will no doubt be a witch hunt starting tomorrow for me, we need to leave, here, these will keep them off our trail," I say handing everyone a note. "If you want your child back you will never find them and don't bother looking. You will never find anything," reads Nico. "Will this convince anyone?" he asks. "Make it look like a break in and like you were dragged away, leave nothing," I say. Everyone nods and leaves. "Now we rescue Nicole," I say.


I know I know, this took forever but I've done it! Another chapter!!! I think it's really good but I don't know about you, tell me in the comments. It took me almost a week and I plan or writing A LOT more!

Phantom Thief Part 2

“Come on, want to help me with the generator upgrades?” says Lania. “Sure, but don’t let me mess anything up, you are the expert here not me, I’m just the funds collector,” I say. We work on the generator for a while talking. “Hey, what are you going to do about Marshal, Eden?” Lania asks. “I dunno, but he can never know I’m the Phantom Thief,” I say. “Speaking of the Phantom Thief we need more money for food and everything else we always need around here,” she says. “I’ll do a run tonight and I promise to come back with plenty of money,” I say. “You know we can always sell something from the Treasure cavern,” Lania says. “No Lania, we need that for only dire emergencies, we can wait, there's always plenty to steal in this city,” I say.

True to my word I grab my messenger bag and walk around the city. It’s not long before I find what I’m looking for. An open window. No one is around so I go in finding a fair amount of stuff to pawn. I leave without a trace. I go to a few apartments taking valuables. I see an open window three stories up. I jump in and see the room. Marshal’s mom’s room. I curse silently and go to the jewelry box. More to steal and they have high value. Lights turn on blinding me for a second. “Hey! What are you doing? I’m calling the cops!” I turn and see Marshal. I curse some more and try to dive out the window but not before he can grab my arm. I trip and land inches away from the window. “You shouldn’t be stealing,” Marshal says. “Give my mother's jewelry back now,” he says holding out a hand. That’s all I need. I wrench from his grip and dive out the window. I land on my left foot awkwardly rolling it, I cry out in pain and I have to try and bandage it fast, so I can get away. It’s enough time of Marshal to run outside running towards me. I growl in frustration and stand up straight ready to run, but I’m hurt more than I thought and the world spins around me. Marshal is only a few feet away when I get my bearings. “Come back!” he shouts running towards me trying to grab my arm again, he trips his hand outstretched. He grabs my left ankle on the way to the ground and I can’t help but cry out in pain at I fall down with him. I lay on the ground for a second in pain unable to move. Marshal is next to me close enough that I can hear him breathe, I go limp and Marshal tries to get into my bag to get back his mother's jewels from me. I lay waiting for the right time to strike, when he’s leaning over me ti reach for my bag, I snap open my eyes, pushing him off of me and run into the night.

When I walk in class the next day almost everyone is around Marshal’s desk. “You really say them? You saw the Phantom Thief? How?!” asks one girl leaning on his desk. “I hid in my moms room and I left the window open, I used some of her jewelry as bait and I was able to see the Phantom Thief. She got away but I know she was hurt dove out the window, because she was sort of slow running away and she limped a little,” says Marshal. I roll my eyes, stupid. “She? The Phantom Thief is a girl?!” says one of the boys. “Yeah she had long hair and had the grace of a girl,” Marshal says. “Did she hurt you?” asks the girl on his desk. “She shoved me off of her when I tried to get back the jewels she took, I tried to chase her down and I tripped dragging her down with me where she went limp and got away” says Marshal. I can’t help but snort. “You got something to say?!” says the girl. “Yeah I do, you seeing the Phantom Thief is crazy and I’m sure that you wouldn’t have been able to recognize her because she has been stealing for years and you just came here. So you must be lying, how can someone see your so called Phantom Thief if they haven't been seen before, ” I say standing up to glare at Marshal. “Can’t you just leave everyone alone for once? No one cares what you think,” says Shella. “Do you really want to say that to me? And I do leave everyone alone, it’s just that when someone says something stupid I can’t help but interfere because I unlike you know when something is fake,” I say walking back to my desk. I put too much pressure on my left ankle and I wince. “What do you know?!” says Shella. I turn around slowly. “I know enough to not get robbed by someone by lying valuables around where anyone can take them,” I say sitting down. After school I’m walking home on my own because I want to get some food for everyone. “Hey,” says Marshal behind me, I tense up and glare at him. “Why did you assume that I was lying? I wasn’t lying,” he says. I try to walk away but I’m a little slower than usual, Marshal grabs my arm before I get very far. “Do you want me to flip you again? Because I will, now. Let. Go. Of. Me” I say glaring. Marshal doesn’t let go. “Knew I should have gone the other way,” I mutter when he doesn’t let go. “Huh?” he says dumbly. “Leave me alone Marshal, before you regret it,” I say shaking him off. Marshal holds on tighter. “I don’t think I’ll regret anything,” he says. I try to take a step but my left foot rolls, I fall to the ground my foot throbbing I grit my teeth trying not to cry out in pain. “You ok?” Marshal says trying to touch me. “Don’t touch me,” I say hitting his hand. I try getting up but again the world spins and I fall back down. I take out some bandages and start wrapping my ankle so that I can walk better. “How did you get hurt?” asks Marshal looking at my foot. “I la- I tripped yesterday, now leave me alone, I can get home on my own. I don’t need your help,” I say getting up and limping away.

Hi everyone! I'm back and I saw that the Phantom Theif Part 1 got almost 70 views so I might post part 2 today or tomorrow.

The Phantom Thief Part 1

It all began when someone left a window open. I smirked, clearly they haven’t heard the rumors about me. I take a running start and I jump to the window making no noise. I blow away a strand of my auburn hair from my face before I tuck it back into my ponytail. I step down from the windowsill into the room. When I look around I see wallpaper with birds in flight all over the room. I look around the room seeing no one, but I spot a dresser with a big jewelry box on top of it. I grin and walk towards it finding a ton of high-end jewelry begging to be snatched. I grab it all, put it in my bag and leave the way I came. Nothing in the room is different apart from the missing jewels.

It’s the next day and I’m selling my findings at fences all over the city, I handle everything carefully and wear gloves to leave no prints. My hair is also kept tied up tight so I leave nothing behind. “Hey, I got some stuff for ya!” I call going through the back of my last fence’s building. “What have you got this time, Phantom? I hope something good,” he says rubbing his filthy hands together waiting to get them on my loot. He reaches for it but I shut my bag and hold it away from him. “What’s the price? I want something good or I’ll go to someone who is better,” I say looking at him. “I’ll give you a hundred for each piece,” he says just wanting his dirty hands on my treasure. “No, these are the best I’ve gotten in a long time, I’m not letting anyone rip me off, goodbye. I’ll come to you next time I have some rip off loot,” I say walking out and disappearing into the night.

I’m able to sell most of the treasure for quite a bit of money. I run across roofs, in the night the moon my only light. It doesn’t matter I know every crack and pebble on these roofs even when I can’t see a thing I know where I’m going. I jump down into a broken skylight one knee tucked up to my chin the other straight my toes pointed. I plunge through the half a dozen holes that are below me. I twist and turn at just the right time so that nothing touches me. I land a hundred feet below barely making a sound. I let out a low complicated whistle. I get a short high one in reply and I walk towards the broken down door, it’s almost off it’s last hinge but it’s just fine. I swing it open and go through a secret entrance and walk into the mess I call home. “Hey Eden! How much did you get this time?” asks my best friend Lania. “Quite a bit, but I always save the best for us,” I say smiling. “WOW! We could upgrade our generator so much with this! You’re the best!” She gushes when she sees the money. “Don’t forget to get food. We can’t freeload at school forever,” I say patting her on the head. “I know, but we could do so much more with a better generator,” she sighs. “I know. Now come on, we should tell the others,” I say walking into the main cavern.

At school the next day their is a new student in my class with black long messy hair, a goofy grin and slightly tanned skin and muscular, most of the girls in school would kill just to talk to him. “Hi, I’m Marshall and I’m new here, I hope I can make some new friends,” he says smiling, I roll my eyes. Just the usual new kid crap. Later I’m sitting at my desk drawing when I over hear Marshal talking to some boys. “We moved in two days ago and my mom left the window in her bedroom open for an hour and when she came back all her jewelry was gone, without a trace,” he says. “Dude! You already got robbed by the Phantom Thief? Unreal!” says one of the guys. “Who?” He says confused. “The Phantom Thief has robbed a ton of people without a trace, no fingerprints, no hair samples, no nothing. No one knows who they are only that they are notorious and totally untouchable,” says one of the boys. I gasp when I realized it was my latest steal. They look over but I’m already running out of the class. No freaking way! This can’t be happening! I silently curse myself as I run to the bathroom to hide. Before I can open the door and bolt inside someone grabs my shoulder. I turn around and see Marshal, he’s several inches taller than my 5’3 stature. I’m terrified, I shove him away and run into the bathroom. I wait their until the bell rings, I rush back to class and don’t look at Marshall, but I can feel he’s watching me the whole day. I was stupid to ever react this is the first time I’ve ever reacted so obviously to Phantom Thief gossip.

After school Marshal chases after me. He tries to grab my hand, on instinct I flip onto his back in a second. “Leave me alone,” I growl before running away. When I get to the cavern I’m exhausted. “EMERGENCY MEETING! EVERYONE HERE NOW!” I yell at everyone, within a minute everyone who lives in the cavern by looking at me. “We may be compromised, someone I stole from is in my class, and they might find out, we need to find a place to relocate ASAP. We can stay here but we need to be more careful from now on or we will have to leave. Meeting over,” I say. “Can we still pass notes and talk in the code at school?” someone calls. “No, someone could overhear or find a lost note from now on only cavern talk in the cavern. We should start looking for a new place in case we need to leave,” I say. Everyone nods and goes back to doing homework tutoring other kids and working on the project.

I avoid Marshal as much as I can and he leaves me alone, either that or he’s scared I might flip him over again. “Hey, what’s her name anyway? I hear Marshal whisper a few days after the cavern meeting in the school courtyard. “Oh Nah bro, don’t mess with her or even talk to her. No one does and for good reason,” he says to Marshal. “Did something happen?” Asks Marshal. “A few somethings actually. Everyone is scared of her-” Before I can hear anything else Kaycey a little girl who just joined the cavern runs over to me tears in her eyes. I see two bigger boys running after her with evil looks in their eyes. “They’re chasing me,” she says in tears. I pat her head and walk away the boys are closing in on her fast, I wait for them to come closer, then I stick out my arm and they fall backward staring up at me in the mud. “Leave. Her. Alone.” I growl at them they get up and bolt away. I walk back to my place on the wall. “See? She does that all the time, so no one ever messes with her,” the boy, Dan says. “Why?” asks Marshal, Dan shakes his head and says “Because the girl she helped lives with her in the orphanage. She’s the unofficial protector of them all, so if you mess with them you mess with her,” “You never told me her name,” Marshall says. I decide to cut in then. I give them both a death glare and they stop talking.

After school Marshal keeps his distance but he still follows me. “Lania he’s following again, we should the other route,” I say to her. “Sure,” she says. We turn back to school and go on the roof. Marshal trails behind us trying to look like he’s not following us when he is. We take a long winding route home and lose him along the way to the cavern entrance, we jump down and enter the cavern.

The Curse of Magic Chapter 20

"Hey Kata!" says Bullet when Nico and I appear in front of our tree. "Hey, how has everything been?" I ask. "Oh well for a week or so Luke and Ana dated but umm Ana kinda kissed Nick in front of everyone including Luke and now they're checking on the election and Luke has been brooding for like a week. Also, Nicole met her psycho mom who is the goddess of blood and carnage and she wants Nicole to live with her so she and Nathan are currently hiding somewhere, I'm not exactly sure where," says Bullet giving us the news of what happened while we were gone. "Hand it over Nico," I say in Japanese holding out my hand for Nico. He rolls his eyes and gives me 1100 Yen ($10) I pocket the money and smile. "Did you make a bet?" Asks Bullet confused. "Yeah we did and I won," I say smirking. "I'm so going to get you back you know Kata," says Nico. "I know but, whatever," I say smiling. "What did you bet on?" asks Bullet. "I bet that one of you guys would have some drama and Nico bet on DA drama," I say smiling. "Come on, let's catch up, it's been forever since you where in LA," says Bullet.
Nico and I are signing up for school because we don't like being away from the others it's so BORING. When we're done I go to Bullet's house where I can hear her shouting. It's muffled so I can't make out anything but I can tell she's gotten into another fight with her adopted parents, even though she said that they weren't too bad. I knock on the door and The shouting stops. Bullet's mom opens the door. "Hey, Bullet invited me over," I say. "B, you have a friend over!" call her mom. "Ok, I'll see you later, bye," says Bullet running down the stairs and out the door before she's done. "Come on! I need to show you something!" says Bullet jumping up and down a little. "Cool I can't wait," I say as we walk away from the house. "What is it?" I ask when we're far enough away from her house. "Mike and I are helping Luke train for American Ninja Warrior!" Says Bullet jumping in the air when she says 'Warrior' "Am I supposed to know that show? I haven't heard of it," I say. "Sorry I keep forgetting you're from Japan, but American Ninja Warrior is an obstacle course that people all over the US compete in to become well an American Ninja Warrior, no one's ever completed the course and Luke need cheering up so Mike and I are training him. Well more like yelling at him while he does parkour and filming him for his entrance video," says Bullet. "It's his first course today and we're going to cheer him on! Come on! We need to get their NOW!" says Bullet pulling me along. When we get their Luke is the next contestant. "Next up is Luke! He's nineteen and just qualifies to go on the course. How long have you been training Luke?" says the announcer. "About maybe a week and a half knowingly but before I just did whatever and my friends said I could win so here I am," he says. "A week and a half? Other contestants train for years to try this course out," says the host. "Well I mean the course isn't a few hundred feet up and has water underneath so I think I'll be safe," Says Luke. "Do you do parkour?" asks the host. "Yeah all the time so I don't know how this will be any different, plus my friend's both did one of the courses that were meant to be really hard and they did it," says Luke. "Bullet! He shouldn't have mentioned that!" I hiss. "Who are these friends of yours? They sound amazing," says the Host. "They're over there," says Luke pointing to Bullet and Mike. Luke smiles lopsidedly at them and Bullet waves, the cameras are on us. "Let's get this started and see if you can impress your friends," says the host. The buzzer goes off and Luke gets across each obstacle with ease. He takes 60 seconds and gets first place Bullet and Mike cheers the loudest. Bullet and Mike jump the fence and give Luke a hug. "Good job Luke, I almost thought you could make it," says Mike. "Shut up! Great job Luke," says Bullet. After the Post interview, We leave. "Great job, for only a week or training," I say to Luke. "Thanks, Kata, I'm thinking maybe I could win this thing, win completely," says Luke. "Nope not going to happen, Luke, when you fain in a few years I'm going to beat everyone who's ever tried," says Bullet. Luke laughs as they walk away. I wish i could have something like what they have. I think, but I've lost everything and no matter what I know I can never have even a sliver of what Bullet, Mike and Luke have. It makes me sad to think about it. How I threw away my future for revenge. Revenge, what a stupid word, and yet for so long, that's all I could think about. I've tried to stop my drive for revenge but almost every day I see her, my sister and it makes all the pain from where I first found out she was dead come back. Through all of this, the worst part is that I lost my sister. I know Nico is with me now but that doesn't mean that I stop grieving for my sister. No matter how many years go by. I know the others have had worse, I know that to some people losing my sister is nothing but to me it's everything. Sometimes I can't get out of bed because my mind is so filled with sadness. The next day I get up and I smile, but I still miss her, I just pushed the pain down and wait for it to bubble up. I know that I'm depressed and I know that It's bad but I know that I keep going. No one knows not even Nico and now because of my revenge that made it worse because I hurt people because my mind told me it would help. And Now it just makes me feel worse. What makes me feel strange is how I can act like nothing is wrong. I guess I got what's coming to me I hurt people, killed people and I've been a monster. But now the only monster is my mind and my mind can't die, not unless I'm dead.






I won't be around for a while, sorry I know, but I did this thing for school it will have errors but it's long and I have a tone more so that I can post parts when I'm out of inspiration for something new. Thanks for 29 followers every one of you is awesome and I really love writing even if I haven't done any in a while but I'm glad people read where I have to say and write even if it's only 29 people. I will post the first part of what I call The Phantom Theif. It's based on a Series of unfortunate events and how the original stories were never found and there where only one picture and the first sentence. This is based on that, and I hope you like it. I came up with everything. And I guess I'll put a summary just cuz.
The Phantom Theif is based in the future where there is so much pollution that the sky is permanently gray, water is dirty beyond boiling to be cleaned and trees or any vegetation is rare to see anywhere, but humanity is still killing the world. There are only a few cities where hundreds of thousands of people live. No one realizes the world is dying and people of power who do know don't do anything. There are few people all over the world who create technology to clean the world. Eden is 15 and in grade 9 the oldest class in her school. She steals to get food for her and the other orphans who she lives with. She is part of the organization that builds machines to clean the world. She recruits orphans to help her, a safe haven where they get enough food and somewhere safe to live. Everything is fine until someone shows up at school and makes everything go wrong.

Nutty Nicole Chapter 32

I fly with Nate out of school and home as fast as I can. "How long has mother been home?" I ask. "An hour and everything is already chaos, she was asking for you so I came as fast as I could o get you," says Nate. "I haven't seen her in years, well really ever so why is she here now? Oh, gods is it all true? About you know everything," I say to Nate. "Yes, now come on! We need to go faster or else," says Nathan. "On it," I say flying faster.
      By the time we're at the DA Iexhaustedted but we sprint to the entrance anyway hearing the yelling. "Kara darling where have you been? I've been waiting for you," says my mother. She looks thirty-five and like a regular mom with her long red hair and red eyes. I hate how alike we look. "Mother, it's nice to finally meet you," I say guarded. "You've grown so much, darling I can't imagine how lonely it was for you all these years," she says. "It wasn't lonely, I had father and Nathan with me since I was twelve, that was three years ago. And before that, I did just fine with my human parents," I say. "I know Kara, but now you have me," says mother smiling at me. Everyone in the DA is watching us in fear. They're waiting for the bomb to go off, and for me to die. No one has ever said anything bad to my mother. EVER. "I've never even met you, mother, where have you been all my life? I've only heard stories of you," I say spitting out the word mother like it's acid. "I was busy darling you must understand that besides I have important work," says my mother. "What work? Are you so busy you haven't been able to see me ever?" I say glaring. "Now now you two, you have plenty to talk about tomorrow that must have been a long flight Kara you should get to the dorms, the rest of you as well. We will talk in the morning," says my father defusing the room. "Wonderful, night father," I say giving him a hug and going to my dorm. It was out of character to hug him but I don't really care, with mother around everything has changed. 
     At breakfast, everyone sits away from my mother so that she has enough room not to touch anyone. Everyone is tense and I know why with my mother everyone it tense. I remember the first time I learned about my mother. I was talking to my dad and I asked him about my mom. He told me that she is a god, like him. My father is the devil but the devil is a god with powers over evil. It's more than you would think. My mother is the god of carnage and blood, not war just blood. Dad, on the other hand, is in charge of balance there are good and bad without balance everything gets crazy. Nathan told me that my mother is always influencing conflict to make carnage and blood. "Kara what did you get on your test?" asks Nathan trying to defuse the tension between me and my mother. "I don't know but I it better be good," I say. "I'm sure you did great Kara," says my dad. "Can I learn magic now?" I ask hopefully. "You haven't learned how to use magic yet?" asks my mom. "I can do plenty without magic but yeah magic would be nice," I say defensively. My dad shakes his head I know he thinks this was a bad idea. "I need to... tell my friends I'm ok, they'll be worried," I say getting up, Nathan comes with me to get out of the room, the other kids take it as a hint to leave and we all do. "Is it just me or..." Nathan trails off. "Yeah there is a lot of tension between them," I say. When we get to my dorm I call Bullet. "Hey Bullet sorry for leaving like that but my mother is here and well she's not someone I want to make mad," I say when she picks up. "Why what's so bad about your mom?" Asks Bullet confused. "Well, she is the goddess of blood gore and carnage. Sooo not the best goddess to have as your mom. Plus I've never met her before today, I've just heard the stories, and they're not good," I say. "I could come over to the DA if you want," says Bullet. "No, mother might kill you or make you do something bad, you can't. I'll be back soon," I say hanging up. "How long is mother going to stay?" I ask Nathan. "A few days at most she never stays in one place for long," says Nathan. "Why does she have to come now? I was having a nice time in LA and everything, why does she show up in my life now?" I say aloud. "I don't know but I think that your dad want's to talk to you," says Nathan right as the PA system goes off. "Kara come to my office please," he says. When I get to my office my father is there but my mother is nowhere to be seen, a good thing. "What is it, dad? Is mother leaving?" I ask. "No, she was talking to me and she said that you should stay with her for a while," says dad. "What?! No, I'm leaving to go back to LA as soon as she leaves, I'm not going with her," I say. "You must Kara, I can only teach you so much. I knew this day would come, but I thought I had more time," he says. "I'm not leaving you, dad, I'm not leaving for her, I'm your daughter, not hers. She can't take me, I won't let her," I say balling my fists. "It's not your choice Kara I can't keep you here you must go with her. Now that she's found you she is not going to let you get away, she wants you to be just like her," says my dad. "I'll never be like her, I'm better than her, I refuse to go with her. She can't make me," I say. "I know Kara, I know you don't want to go, but you must," says my dad. My mother walks in smiling. "Go and pack Kara we should be leaving soon," I glare at her and my dad as I walk out. I do pack my things. "How did it go?" asks Nathan when he comes in. "I'm meant to go with my mother somewhere for who knows how long," I growl. "I'm guessing you are not going to go with her," says Nathan. "Right on, want to come with me? I'm not leaving the DA or my friends," I say. "I'll go I need to see the outside world anyway," says Nathan stretching.
      In twenty minutes we're flying back to LA at full speed. We fly for a few miles but then take the train so no one sees two teens flying through the sky. "Are we going back to everyone else?" says Nathan. "Sure, I don't see why not," I say shrugging. "You do realize that because of this you just got your mom against us and bad thing could happen, emphasize on the 'bad'" says Nathan. "I know, but I can't stand her and I haven't even known here for 24 hours," I say sighing. I fall asleep a few seconds later for exhaustion.

Sorry I have barely written anything these past few months I am going to try and make a schedule of some kind like maybe 2-3 posts a week or something like that I know I need to start writing more and I'm trying. Also July 8 is my blogavarsary and I'm really excited unfortunatly I'll be doing some stuff over the summer and won't hav acces to my laptop to write anything but It's still a big deal forme because I've worked so hard on this and it's just so amazing how much has happened.

Bullet Train Chapter 16

Luke has been brooding over Ana for three days now. "Luke come on! Cheer up you're no fun like this," I say on the way to school on the third day. Luke doesn't say anything he just glares at the ground. "He hasn't been this way since Amber," says Mike whispering the Amber. "I know, and she was forever ago," I say. "Who's Amber?" Asks Nicole walking next to me. "A girl who used to be the gang, Luke really admired her and well she went back to her family and we never saw her again. Luke was so upset he barely spoke for a month," I whisper. "Sounds bad," says Nicole shrugging. "You don't know the half of it," says Mike. "Kata is coming tomorrow for a week with Nico. I can't wait to see her. It's been forever," I say changing the subject. "I haven't heard from her since that attack she did, and the video," says Nicole. "Is the DA still doing the attacks? We haven't done anything in forever," I say. "Nah, it was fun but now there really isn't that much to do anymore so we're stopping for now, maybe not permanently, but I don't know when the next attack will be. To be honest, I was getting bored with it anyway," says Nicole. "Same, it really wasn't fun after a while," I say. "Ugh! Did you study for the test? I didn't study at all! I'm so dead," moans Nicole. "Here, those are my notes it has everything we need to know. Study next time Nicole, I'm not letting you take my notes forever," I say handing Nicole my notes. "Thanks, Bullet! My dad would KILL me if I failed this test. He says that if I don't pass then well I'm not allowed to go home, but I will! Besides he knows I only go home every month or so. But he did also say he wouldn't let me learn magic and I have to! How can I take over the family business if I can't do magic?" Says Nicole. "Well then study and you can learn, I can help you study but from now on I'm not letting you just take my notes," I say looking at Nicole who is already studying as fast as she can, which is pretty freaking fast. "Ok I'll study next time," says Nicole walking to her locker. "So what is the test about?" Asks Mike. "It's about the witch hunts in England and all that gore, Nicole's dad is really strict when it comes to blood and gore in tests and he's always pushing Nicole to get good grades on them, but strangely he doesn't really care about anything else," I say. "Why did I ask? Of course, it's about blood and gore and painful death if it's Nicole," says Mike wearily. "We need to get to class now, come on!" I say when I hear the bell. In class, we have a sub and the sub doesn't care about what we do so everyone goes crazy. "What are we going to do about Luke? He's really down about Ana," says Mike during class. "I don't know, Maybe we try playing matchmaker?" I suggest. Mike smirks, "What? What are you smirking about?" I demand. "You playing matchmaker? No way, I'm vetoing that idea. What else can we do? Maybe a good old fight? Find a few thugs do our thing. That always helps Luke feel better," says Mike. "Remember what mom said? 'No more fighting you two, you may be used to have fought a lot in New York but this is LA and I will not tolerate any sort of fighting,'" I say pretending to be mom. "Oh yeah, what if we just did some good old parkour? I know! We could go on the Ninja Warrior course like we did forever ago but during live TV, on the hardest one. Imagin it. Three teens can do what hundreds of people have trained for years," says Mike. "Maybe, but we'll need to first get past everyone, but that would be fun, of course, we wouldn't show our faces but we would one-up everyone their," I say. "Maybe instead Luke just does the course normally with everyone else. Then he wouldn't have to hide his face and it would get his mind off of everything," I say. "Sure, we should make sure Luke is down for it first though," says Mike. "Of course," I say right as the bell rings.
     At lunch, Nicole is picking at her food. "How was the test?" I asked. "I either failed miserably or I pass and got a good grade. I hope it's the latter, I really don't want dad to get mad at me and not let me learn or I'll be so mad! I probably will but when Dad is serious he is terrifying. And he was dead serious. I really need to pass this!" Says Nicole not taking her chin off the table. "I bet you did great," says someone behind Nicole. "Nate! What are you doing here? I didn't know you would come. Wait, is Dad mad at me? I really hope he's not mad at me," says Nicole. "Nah he's not mad, but he wants you to come back now," says Nathan. "What for? What happened? Tell me! Dad only ever asks me to come home when it's bad. What is is Nate! Tell me! I have to know," says Nicole talking almost to fast for me to register. "It's your mom, she's back," Says Nate. "Nope nope nope nope NOPE! Mom can NOT be back! How! When? Why? Now I'm really dead!" Says Nicole scared. It's the first time I've EVER seen her sacred. "Come on we need to leave now," Says Nate. "Right, of course, I'll see you guys later, I hope," Says Nicole grabbing her bag and running out the school with Nathan within a minute. "Who is Nicole's mom?" Asks Mike. "Beats me, but she must be scary or else Nicole wouldn't have freaked out like that," I say.
